I have always been happy with the 11 years of taking my dog to Valley vet’s. However, yesterday I was concerned during his yearly health check and vaccination. The Vet had already put up the vaccination without checking his records. When shown his record card the vaccination had to be changed. Following this l, after administrating the vaccination, she could not remember doing it and blamed this on long shifts. My son and I had to ensure her that she had given the vaccine. What if this had been something more important? Shifts need to be looked at.

We had a great experience with the Valley Vets so far! They are profesional and the clinic is amazing. We had an emergency recently with our dog and we received the help we needed quickly and efficiently. I would like to highlight the profesionalism and care of the vet Candela. Our recent appointment with her left us really impressed by how well she addressed all the questions we had and concerns over our dog. In half an hour she managed to take care of multiple aspects of our dogs health. Strongly recommend her to anyone in search for a trusted veterinarian! We will definitely come back!

We cant thank the team at Valley Vets enough for taking care of our boy and us, at a really difficult time. The team were so caring and compassionate, they treated our dog as their own. Forever grateful for how they acted in his last moments.

I took my beloved spaniel here christmas day 2025 after he become seriously ill. After arriving in reception their main concern was the 250 pounds consultation fee and wether my dogs was insured. (which he was). I was then left waiting in reception with a tub of urine with blood in it for nearly an HR before I was seen. When i did eventually see a vet after examining him and seeing his urine she warned about the possibility of him having imha. 40 mins later the bill was 1,100 pounds. They also said he might have a mass on this spleen but they couldn't be sure so wanted to transport him to Langford small animal hospital in weston super mare to confirm this even after telling me the prognosis wasn't good for my spaniel. I had to make the awful decision to put him to sleep. Then after 6 months. I was constantly harassed by phone calls saying they had lost his insurance details. Which brings me to the brutal truth about valley vets They make millions of pounds profit every year this company. They are driven purely by profit and greed and will extract every penny they can out of suffering animals. Even the insurance companies know they are ripping them off. 60 pounds for paracetamol!!! My dog could have had a 35 pounds coombs blood test to diagnose him. But of course that's not enough profit for valley vets. valley vets hospital is and will continue to put profit before compassion. Please think carefully before you take your animal here. You are funding people who are making ridiculous profits out of suffering animals. And in most cases they staff don't have the expertise anyway and have to take them to Langfords anyway.

Can't thank the staff at valley vets hospital enough! My dog Luna got taken in on a Saturday for an emergency appointment as she was unable to stand on her back legs out of no where, Luna was seen my Nia and the pain specialist and had her second lot of X-rays done where I was told they think Luna needs to see a neurologist asap. Luna had been diagnosed by a different vet clinic prior to this and we was told that Luna had a tear in her ligament. The vets from valley vets referred Luna straight away to langford vets and we finally got answers Luna was diagnosed with polyradiculneutris where Luna become completely paralysed. Luna then went back to valley vets for physiotherapy with Nicki and she started hydrotherapy with Alysia. I can't thank them both enough for the support I received from the two of them! They were absolutely incredible with Luna and shortly after Luna began to improve and finally she's now back walking! I definitely think physio and hydro with the girls helped Luna to learn to walk again And they both had a massive part to play in it! I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else the support from all the staff were incredible! But a massive shout out to Alysia and Nicki they are a credit to have on your team! I will forever be greatful!

Our dog ate some antipsoriasis cream. Valley vets were brilliant throughout - saw him quickly on a Friday night (11pm) and looked after him well for monitoring, bloodwork, activated charcoal, fluids. Answered the phone well, kept us up to date on necessary updates, and even on Sunday night when he had to come back in for a final blood test and it was really busy, we were seen within the hour and even told our calcium result whilst we were there! On Saturday night we had to call them as they didn't call us, but otherwise excellent work.he is all better now and the vets were calm, knowledgeable and reassuring when we went through so much panic.

All the staff are so lovely here, genuinely all such kind and caring people. The exotic vet, Elizabetta was extremely knowledgeable about rats too. Highly recommend this veterinary practice.

I took my 2 rabbits for a spay today, the vets were lovely had previous experiences with vets where they didn’t know how to handle vets at all these vets completely knew what they were doing. The exotic animals team is amazing and so friendly. I’ve always thought rabbits would be groggy and hardly move after surgery but my rabbits had surgery about 9 hours ago and are moving like they never had surgery 10/10 highly recommend

Although I imagine the staff are well qualified and trained, they were incredibly rude to my partner and we have no idea why. He left with no idea what was wrong with his dog, no explanations as to her behaviour and condition, and with a lot less money in his pocket, and some medication for we don't know what. He was made to feel like her illness was his fault, but we have no idea or explanation as to what her illness is, and it can't have been his fault. They quoted a lower charge over the phone and when he arrived, £40 was added for no reason and he was told "that's just how it is". We won't be going back.
