   Who knew Slough could have views this stunning? Moxy’s rooftop is pure magic, with amazing vibes and cocktails that hit the spot. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfy, and the whole place just feels effortlessly fun. A proper hidden gem that makes you want to stay, sip, and soak it all in!

   superb hotel,25 mins for central London on the train, train station 5mins walk away. Free parking around the corner from hotel. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Breakfast is also very good.

   To say our stay was unpleasant would be an understatement. We arrived late after traveling all day with our kids. We booked a hotel room only to realize the couch was not a pull out couch as stated in the amenities- no big deal, right? Surely there should be an easy fix. However, the night shift manager is the most unpleasant and inconsiderate person I have ever come across. He did everything in his power to NOT solve this problem and to make our stay miserable, stating that this was our problem and he does not have an option to switch our room or give us an extra bed. He told us in order for us to fix this, we’d have to come down to the front desk and see if he can book us a NEW room. Not help switch our rooms, not bring in a bed, but for us to book a whole other room “if they have it”. Every time we went down to the service desk, we waited 20 minutes or more to even speak to someone because there was always a line. Each time he shoo’d us away or we talked to another rep which would try to help, but then the manager would shut them down. He also spoke so condescendingly on the phone to a staff member about us, when he didn’t realize he was on speaker and the staff member was right next to me trying to help us out. Overall terrible service and experience. The front desk is located at THE BAR of the hotel, which I think is a security risk on its own - with the whole bar having view of the computer screen . After about 2 hours (around 2am) we finally got a cot delivered, and get this…. It was located directly across from our room. It was THAT easy. Why would you do this to a family and children at this hour when there is a clear solution? I don’t understand. It was beyond rude and frustrating. Oh, and our bathroom sink didn’t drain so we brushed our teeth and used the kitchen sink for everything we needed.

   We stayed at the Residence Inn Slough for two weeks and overall had a good experience. The rooms are modern and well-equipped (just a heads-up—there’s no oven, only a small hob and a microwave with grill function). The beds could use an upgrade—they’re quite soft and we kept rolling into the middle. Breakfast is included, which is great, but it’s fairly small and the same each day. That said, the staff are always lovely and helpful. The gym has enough equipment for a solid workout, and the rooms facing the courtyard are generally quiet—except Monday mornings when recycling and deliveries happen. It’s super convenient for access to London, being very close to the station. Just keep in mind that it is Slough—worth doing a bit of research on the area. A lot of families stay here for easy access to Legoland. Free parking is a bonus—it’s about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It’s not gated, but we felt safe and didn’t have any issues during our stay. Overall, the staff really make the place, and it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a base near London with a bit more space at a good price. Bonus tip: Little Lahore restaurant across the street is absolutely delicious—we’d highly recommend it!

   Had to take the hotel due to missing a connection flight. It was absolutely great, used the public bus from LHR. Was a cheap an quick ride. The hotel is clean, rooms are big, service absolutely friendly. Breakfast delicious

   We loved our night in Slough. Hotel is new and vibrant. 5 minute walk to the train station. 1 minute walk to High Street (main street). You can see Windsor Castle from their resto-lounge. Nothing but good things!

   On the whole a truly fabulous hotel. Parking was very confusing but I cannot fault this hotel in any way. Brand spanking new, highly attentive staff and luxurious surroundings. Very central too. We loved it and the beds were super comfortable.
