I think I'd be much happier if I hadn't paid out Β£88 for this shed...or more accurately IKEA meets sauna. The idea is great, the location is great. But get some decent beds for christ sake. IKEA is not the place to go (biggest gripe). Take note from the most successful budget hotels: Decent bed. Decent pillow(s) Fairly quiet. Room temp being slightly colder is usually appreciated on balance. A light near the bed so you can read, or other. And clean!!! That is all you need. It was really noisy with other guests (normal activity nothing bad), road, airport. The towels stunk of smoke. I brought some ear plugs thankfully, and my own pillow.....but that bed. TERRIBLE. And as the towels stunk I didn't feel clean after the shower. And the mug had a chip in it and that light in the corner gets way to hot, dangerous for kids! Needs replacing asap. Do not recommend unless improvements are made. On a plus it was secure parking, and she seemed nice.

The hostess was lovely and helpful. The cabins themselves were spartan/ rustic . It had a fridge and microwave but the unit could have been cleaner . Also the walls are thin and we were kept awake late by the people next door and woken up early as well. The bathroom was nice and we had plenty of hot water for showers. It was definitely the place we liked the least on our trip.

Cheap accommodation suitable for an overnight stay before heading to Heathrow in the morning. Cabins are warm and have all the essentials but don’t count on great water pressure or a properly working wifi. Not sure if it’s suitable for families though. The walls are incredibly thin and any sound from the outside is heard on the inside. We expected the airplanes but there is a very busy road outside with cars driving all night long. The decked walkway also means that every step sounds and vibrates. If you’re a heavy sleeper, that’s of course not much of an issue. Unless the couple in the room opposite are getting frisky all night long, grunting, knocking and very loud β€œyes”-ing included. They would stop for loud chats and cigarettes outside too. The last time I heard them was 3:30 am. I actually was about to knock on their door during the very loud grunts but they must have heard me unlock my door and stopped then. I must admit, I found this situation hilarious but I had two children with me and the sounds were definitely not very human-sounding and the last thing I wanted to do was explain that to my kids. Fortunately they slept through most of it. I actually think that my daughter woke that couple up for another round when she fell off her bed with the mattress and banged her face on another bed. It was 3 am. The spare bed is just a bit of wood with a thick unsecured mattress on top of it. My daughter must have tossed in her sleep and the mattress simply slid off with her on it. The cabin has very little floor space so she consequently landed with her face agains the corner of the big bed. Fortunately we survived the night, the noisy couple were gone by the time we woke up and my daughter was left with a mark on her face but lived to tell the tale. On the plus side, the parking is convenient and secure and the owner Pam was very friendly and welcoming.

If you just need a place to sleep, this is perfect. Off road and secure parking. Secluded cabins with basic but quality facilities: kitchenette (microwave, tea/coffee, wash sink), shower room, TV, and internet. Hostess made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed too, which was a nice touch.
