   We really enjoyed our stay at the Walton's. The location is perfect for exploring Dorking and browsing in the antique shops. The Walton's is a beautiful house and our room and bathroom were lovely, spacious with great views to Box Hill and very peaceful. Our hosts Maggie and her husband and the house keeper were very friendly and made us ver welcome. The bed was comfortable the breakfast delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here

   This is one of the best places to stay in the world: friendly, welcoming, warm, comfortable, beautifully and tastfully decorated, and with great WiFi, food, location, and advice on things to do in Dorking. If you stay in Surrey and do not stay at The Waltons home-from-home, then you need to rethink what you are doing.

   My wife and I stayed at the Waltons for one night in early December 2022 and we can only endorse the comments from previous reviewers. We were very much made to feel at home by Maggie, Richard and Vicky. The room was very cosy and comfortable and well appointed and the plentiful continental breakfast was very tasty. We wish we could have stayed longer and if we return we will undoubtedly try those homemade cakes. Thanks to all at The Waltons.

   My wife and I stayed at The Waltons for four nights recently, and we couldn't overstate how lovely a time we had. Maggie and Richard were wonderfully friendly and accommodating people. We requested an early check-in and they went out of their way to make sure we could make the most of the first day of our holiday. Their continental breakfast was abundant and delicious. Maggie regularly bakes cakes which are made freely available to all guests. They were excellent; I strongly recommend the fruit cake especially. Their housekeeper, Vicky, had our room (the "Bird" room) and associated private bathroom beautifully presented before our arrival, and each day during our stay. The room's windows look directly out over the valley to Denbies wine estate, a lovely sight in the morning sun. The free-standing bath one could practically swim in, the heated towel rail was hot in minutes and heated the whole bathroom, and the antique pulley operated towel drying rack was an unexpected pleasant surprise! If you're visiting Dorking, do stay at The Waltons. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the middle of town and simply delightful.

   We loved our stay at the Waltons, Maggie and Richard are great hosts, very attentive and helpful and the house and room were beautiful and clean. Great location for exploring the different walks around Dorking, Denbies wine estate and the beautiful antique shops. Will definitely be coming back.

   Whole lower ground floor of an early Victorian villa in a secluded part of the town but still in easy walking distance to the main streets. Friendly welcome from Maggie who made us feel at home straight away. Could be self catering or with breakfast provided, a combination of both, so we could come and go as we pleased through our own entrance door. Small rear patio area which is a nice suntrap and secluded spot for breakfast. Parking on the drive, although tight to turn in, so we parked on the road, which wasn't a problem as there were enough spaces in non restricted areas. Lovely views over the front towards the church and beyond. Ideal for a short get away. Hoping we might return sometime!

   Fabulous find in Dorking. We had a two night break at The Waltons, a wonderful opportunity to have some well needed R&R. We were not disappointed, Maggie, Richard, the cat and dogs looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful breakfast selection and fresh cakes cooked daily. Our room had stunning views and it was very quiet. Short walk to the main high street and a wealth of walks on the doorstop. Highly recommend, thank you.
