   Got a little schnoodle who has a lot of attitude. Hes been to a few groomers and really didnt like the experience, even bighting one groomer. Today i took him to the groom room nuneaton and although he was nervous going in, he was fine, the girls looked after him and his groom couldnt of been better! ,..I would highly recommend them!!

   We have been loyal clients of The Groom Room in Nuneaton since adopting our dog. Until recently, our experiences had always been commendable. However, our latest visit significantly marred our opinion due to unprofessional behavior from one of the staff members, who demonstrated a considerable lack of understanding and courtesy towards us and their ability to understand basic grooming instructions. In contrast, another staff member familiar with Sirius reassured us she got our instructions. Upon picking up our dog, we were subjected to discourtesy from the same staff member who had initially failed to understand basic instructions. She negligently tossed the service paperwork across the counter and mishandled the receipt before begrudgingly handing it back in a crumpled state, without offering any apology. Distressingly, our dog exhibited signs of emotional and physical discomfort on the day and the following day, characterized by diarrhoea, vomiting, and his eyes, which revealed he had been crying when we picked him up—a clear indicator of the stress and discomfort he experienced. We tried calling them today, unsuccessfully, to enquiry if we was fed during his stay. Further, the grooming quality was substandard compared to our previous visits. We noticed bald spots on his tail, and the specific grooming instructions were not adhered to. Despite requesting a specific guard size for his back, the fur was left much longer, well above the requested length. Our attempts to communicate with The Groom Room for clarification have been unsuccessful, raising serious concerns about the treatment and care our dog received. Adding to our apprehensions were the safety measures, or the lack thereof, for the dogs in their care. Specifically, the practice of attaching dogs solely with a leash to a suction cup on the glass windows appears highly unsafe and inadequate for ensuring their security, especially in an environment where large and small dogs are mixed. This was further highlighted by the presence of a large, energetic, yet unmuzzled Rottweiler dog, emphasizing the potential risks in such settings. This disappointing experience has compelled us to reconsider using their services in the future. The lack of professionalism, disregard for safety, and failure to meet previously set grooming standards have led us to advise other pet owners to exercise caution and trust their instincts when choosing grooming services. Unless the Groom Room takes remediate actions regarding our concerns we will, unfortunately, be looking for alternative options

   Took our Shihpoo for a groom. Courtney was brilliant. Listened and made notes of what I needed. Shadow came home with the silkiest coat. All instructions followed well. Excellent groom. Thank you so much.

   We take our 2 dachshunds here for a nail trim every few weeks and the staff always remember there names and show love to our fur babies, highly recommended

   Absolutely appalling the way they treat my dog. Never had an issue before the other ladies who treat my dog are great with hi. I have a rescue syberian husky who regular goes to the groom room who has really bad anxiety and the women work with him normal are fantastic. he always loves going and so proud when he comes out, however this lady not seen before has ruined the experience and will no longer be using this service. On collecting our dog he was put in a cage that was clearly two small for him sitting hunch over cowering. The lady had a go. Say that due to being late had cause Kaiser to become anxious and very unsettled. And that we should be charged a late fee for picking him up( never have we heard this before) . Since taking Kaiser home he not left my side and is anxiety is though the roof. When Kaiser left the groom room his tail was between is legs and head down this not like him at all he very happy and energetic dog very loving. The women seem annoyed at the way our dog was acting I'm sorry but you should be in the job if you treat people dogs like this and the way you speak to people is disgusting. To put a husky in a cage that small when can see he distressed already. This due to using large dryer which he is frightened of. Which already aware of as other ladies where working on normal use small dryer and have said he getting better each visit, yes it takes longer but the adapt to Kaiser need but this seems to be to much to ask for this women do not use this service
