   This as my £8 chicken curry and chips! The portion was woeful. The chicken taken from the fridge, heated up and curry sauce poured over the top. My other half had a bag for chips and fish cake which was around £5.50 and it was huge. Doesn’t seem right to me ! I even asked for the chicken curry to be split out because I saw the limited amount of chips !

   Well where do I start. Ordered food at 6.30pm for delivery at 8.15pm. phones at 8.30pm to be told our food had left, calls back at 8.50pm to be told again it's on its way. Phones back at 9.15pm to be told sorry but we haven't done your order but I will get it done now and straight to you which he did. So my son seen this on someone's food review, there was no doner meat on the loaded chips. And the hotdog that they was raving about is just a chipshop sausage in a roll, absolutely shocking. And the food was terrible if I'm honest, definitely won't be going back to this chippy.

   I have been looking for a new fish and chips shop and I have found this one. Unfortunately looking at some of the reviews (good and bad) I feel very put off giving this place a chance. This is because of the low level of professionalism from the shop when responding to a customer complaint. I understand that customers are not always right but the response from the owner has a fowl attitude which makes me believe the level of standards I would expect would not be on existence upon my arrival. Maybe if the shop owner had a more friendly approach towards such negative views, I may consider buying.

   Ordered large cod & chips here today with Irish curry, gravy and mushy peas and I had to give it 5 stars, they do a hearty size portion of chips, a proper piece of cod and huge sauces/peas. I was even more impressed by the quality of the food, I know I'll be back. 5/5

   Really great food! We were looking for a new place to try as we are new to the area, we will definitely come back. Cod bites are so tasty and beautifully cooked. Large portion size and great value for money. Kind staff and nice atmosphere inside the place too.
