I stayed at the Rosewood for six nights, at nearly Β£1,000 per night. The room itself was luxurious and very comfortable, the lobby was beautiful, and housekeeping was meticulous. However, my overall experience was mediocre for a five-star hotel, with nothing truly exceptional to mention. I did not receive a warm welcome from the staff at the entrance or at reception. There was no small talk, no sense of hospitalityβoverall, a very bland experience. I am from Qatar and wear a headscarf. On several occasions, staff members spoke directly to my husband without acknowledging me or even making eye contact. This felt strange and uncomfortable. I am unsure whether they assumed it was inappropriate to address me directly or assumed I could not speak English. Either way, it was disappointing. I travel frequently to Europe and the United States, and I have never experienced this kind of treatment before. Breakfast was also mediocre. The buffet was only available on weekends, while weekdays offered a set menu with very limited options. Overall, while the hotel is visually impressive and well maintained, the experience itself felt average and did not meet the expectations of a true five-star hotel.

First, let me say that if I could give half stars I would give the Rosewood 4.5 stars, not 5. I reference other five star hotels in major cities, especially London, that I have stayed in. The Rosewood London is very good, but a tad not quite there. To be fair, the staff are wonderul. Everyone I interacted with was first rate. From doormen to front desk to housekeeper, all wonderful. That includes the reservation staff who emailed me about my early check in request. All were a joy to deal with. Kudos to the entire team, at least the ones I saw. I stayed two separate times within 6 days, using London as a layover for my trip west. Both times I booked a premier executive room, hoping to score an upgrade since I used the Amex FHR program. Both times I failed to catch a break. Not that they have to, of course. The hotel must be totally full on both occasiins then. Right? And the second stay? What a great room with a view of AC units and construction next door (see pics). Not the hotel's fault, of course, that these things were there. But not what I had hoped. In the room on my second stay, the toilet us located right next to the entrance to the shower. Kinda squeezed and it's quite easy to drag your towel onto the toilet rim. Not very nice. No luggage rack per se, so I placed the luggage on the stool at the foot of the bed. And then moved thr stool to the middle of the room because I really didn't want the dirtt luggage surface to touch the bed. Am I weird? I think not. Oh, the hotel provides a sense of welcome with a welcome amenity. Three, yes count them, three mandarin oranges. Better than nothing I guess. Something else annoys me. They put a service charge to the bill for the room and for the restaurant. Fine. But then they say the service charge is not included in the hotel credit I get. In other words, I have to pay extra for the service charge THEY put on even if my total restaurant bill comes below the allowed credit. Come again? I could ask for the service charge to be removed, bai guess. But that's not my point. They impose something on the customer, albeit "voluntary," and then say it's extra to the creditbupu you get. There's someting unsavoury about this nickle and diming for a hotel this calibre. But hey, in the lift lobby on each floor is bowl of candies! Overall the hotel is clean, relatively spacious rooms depending on the category you book. Generally quiet with minimal interior and external noises. Service level is high. Nice toileteries. Not a bad choice at all especially if you spot a good price relative to other five star properties. AND, the Holborn Dining Room is absolutely marvelous!

Afternoon tea at the Rosewood London was outstanding. The setting is beautiful, the food is thoughtful and delicious, and the whole experience feels special from the moment you sit down. What stood out most was the staff, who were exceptional in every way, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made the entire service feel effortless and refined. A perfect afternoon and truly one of the best tea experiences in London.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here over the weekend. Stayed in family room with two kids. As always, itΒ΄s about the people. The kids were made comfortable and entertained, excellent advice from the concierge and a slight misunderstanding regarding payment for breakfast was solved without hesitation by the front desk. A true five star experience.

I recently stayed at the Rosewood London hotel in Holborn and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome and at home. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and design throughout. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with all of the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep each night of my stay.

The Rosewood is an outstanding place. We felt very warm and cared for by each member of the hotel staff. the room service is very prompt and a very attentive staff. the rooms are cozy and felt very comfortable despite travelling with my 2 daughters of which one is an infant. The breakfast is to die for. The entire staff at breakfast at the Holborn Dining Room is so hospitable and caring and well trained in child care. We were served by Howey on most days and he is amazing with his conduct. cant think of any other place to stay in London anymore.

Superb location and local amenity. All the finer details make this stay feel completely luxurious. Thank you especially to the lovely Lara from reservations who was just wonderful.

We had an incredible stay at the Rosewood over our wedding weekend in London! The suite we stayed in was stunning as is the entire hotel. Catherine and the team were so helpful with making arrangements for our wedding suite and other wedding guests staying at the hotel. The butler team was amazing on the day assisting with bringing food and cleaning up throughout the day. I highly recommend the Rosewood for any stay in London. It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing team that is so eager to help. We are so grateful for everything and so glad we stayed at the Rosewood!
