Martin has carried out several small jobs and also made and installed a garden gate for us. Each time he has arrived promptly when promised, carried out the work efficiently and meticulously. Be carefull when chosing a tradesman. Hired Martin Tinman Evans of Evans home improvements to build a media wall and paper it and renovate a bathroom. The job was supposed to be completed Friday ready for me to have flooring fitted but he was nowhere near. He agreed to work the weekend. He didn't turn up. Been there today to find my media wall built with plasterboard has not been skimmed and he's papered over the top leaving an indent line right across the media wall. Although on Thursday my father discussed with him that he needed to use scrim tape and plaster it to which he agreed. Then onto the bathroom. I have wall panels so badly fitted they are rocking in the walls, where they meet the window frame he's built it out so much there's a 1.5 inch gap so you can see straight behind at the expanding foam . He's fitted them a few inches from the wall and only dotted the foam so when you touch them they are bouncing. Badly cut so he's attempted to fill it with silicone that looks awful, no bath panel, no door or doorframe. He's made such a mess that other tradesmen won't touch it so it has to be ripped out and started again. The materials now unusable. He's left all the rubbish on my drive too. When I text him to say I was unhappy as he hadn't done what he had promised, i realised he had blocked me and my partner , including on social media to prevent us from sharing. He's had £825 for this mess. The fact he had blocked us BEFORE even speaking to me shows a deliberate attempt to avoid putting this right as he clearly knows what he has done. Trading standards and small claims as he's ignored my request for a refund. He also has my house key and is ignoring requests for it to be returned to me.
What an amazing worker Martin is, nothings too much trouble. His attention to detail is meticulous and every job he has completed for me has been first class. I can100% reccomend Martin, his prices are very reasonable and he can turn his hand to anything. Thanks Martin, I absolutely love my new decking!
Martin carried out some Rubber Roof installation and uPVC Installation for us and we were incredibly happy with the result. He was easy to communicate both prior and during the project. Highly recommended.
Martin did a great job converting our garage to an office space. He was very neat and tidy and the work caused minimal disruption to us. Martin suggested ways to improve on my ideas for the end result look as good as it could be. We are delighted with the finish! Would highly recommend Martin and happily use his services again.

Could not fault any aspect of the service received by Martin, he fitted my kitchen not once but twice due to an error with the builders before him. He is patient, understanding and has an amazing eye for perfection going above and beyond with everything he does. He communicates clearly to understand what you want and discusses all options to make it work. If you're looking for any kind of work around the house, this is definitely the guy to use.
