Service staff was nice and friendly. We did not have to wait long for the food. Cider was refreshing and delicious. The food was ok.

What a lovely, friendly team Kaya and co are. I felt really welcomed (which sometimes isn’t the case as a solo diner) and the food was tasty. Perfect Sunday fare! Thanks all.

Popped in on my way home from work yesterday and had a very good experience. Not a restaurant I ever use, pretty sure it was my first time in a Pieminister and the young man Dylan who was serving made me feel very welcome. He was polite, friendly and easy to interact with. Seemed happy in his job. Food came out quickly and was nicely presented. Cosy little place. Sat back from the bustling Broad Quay of Bristol’s City Centre I was quite content. You wouldn’t think from the outside it goes right back, so you can dine comfortably away from the street full of busy activity.

We visited Pieminister for our wedding meal on Friday. We didn't want a standard wedding meal preferring to have a more informal get together with friends and family. We opted for the bottomless brunch. On arrival the staff had gone the extra mile. The table was tastefully dressed, there were welcoming and congratulatory messages. There were fresh flowers and some gifts for us. The food was excellent, served in good time and was all well presented. As for the drink element of our meal...it just kept coming. The staff were very generous and never kept us waiting. They did brilliantly and all of our guests commented upon them. We had a lovely time on our special day. Your staff and venue were a big part of it. Thank you so much.

As it says on the tin, Pies, lots of them. Opted for the mash, mushy peas, cheddar, onions version. Very tasty although not too sure about the cheese. Vegan option got the thumbs up. Nice beers ; Pie P A and the 0 alcohol option was great. Great service too.

Finally got to try pieminster today and the experience was mixed. The staff were friendly and accommodated us adding a few extra people to our booking. When we went to place our food order with our drinks we were told they would take drinks first. It wasn’t until our drinks came out that they took our food order, this added to the wait for food. We were a large pre booked group, the chef worked hard to get our orders out together but with 13 plates it took time, they really could have done with help plating up from other staff, it wasn’t very busy in the restaurant. When food arrived at the table it was lukewarm; mine being the last served had cold gravy (my pie was part of a second batch so was nice and hot) - for some reason they plated everyone’s gravy first so it was sat on the side for quite some time to the extend a skin had formed on the top. They were quick to replace mine and a few others gravies when we flagged it was cold. The food itself was lovely, the mash creamy and smooth, the kale salty, Yorkshire puddings fluffy and the gravy was rich and delicious. The rosemary potatoes were crispy but cold and dry. The main event itself the pies are amazing, full to the brim and so tasty. Would I return? As a group no, whilst challenging I’ve never had food served cold before. As a booking with a friend or two yes, the pies are worth it and the meal is good value for money.

Excellent meaty pie & sides offering Pieminister Broad Key. Full 5* review coeliacwellnes.com. Good online allergy guide with additional information on main menu. Could improve on the breadth of gluten free options, but overall fast tasty coeliac friendly food.

Wow!.. I had the chicken and bacon pie, which they serve on a bed of mash potato with mushy peas on top. It was amazing food. A traditional meal made great again. Nice comfy setting with friendly staff. Definitely worth a try.
