   Very poor service at the reception. I booked a sauna and swimming session for my wife, and the lady at the reception didn’t give us any information or the wristband with the access code for the sauna. The same person also gave me the wrong parking ticket – I paid for 5 hours, but the ticket was valid for only 4. Totally unprofessional and unhelpful staff. Not recommended at all.

   I booked a swim at Loughborough Leisure Centre today (10/09/25) at 1.30pm as, according to my Fusion app, there were only 15 people booked for the session. I was looking to have a quiet leisurely swim for half an hour for a break from work. This was the most awful swimming experience I have ever had! The two faster swim lanes were taken by university students who rightly should have been in the faster lanes. The medium lane also had university students following each other up and down the lengths leaving the remainder of the general public to squash into the other lane! I did swim in the medium lane but was immediately 'bumped into' twice and then one of the students told me "you can't swim like that in this lane!" The same lady later then asked to swim past me but then proceeded to cut across in front of me making me come to a stop! This girl was so rude. After using the Leisure Centre for many years I have never felt so out of place and disregarded by Loughborough Leisure Centre. Disappointingly the life guard was oblivious to the goings on. Please be warned of this behaviour when swimming at Loughborough Leisure Centre until the university pool is back up and running on 20th September. Shame on you Loughborough Leisure Centre for allowing the locals who support you to be treated in this way!!

   FOR KAITLIN !! This review is only for one member of the stuff- particularly for Kaitlin, who is part of the reception team . She is the most respectful, kind, helpful, patient. Always smile on her face, when greeting after I am entering and leaving. Ros :-)

   Lovely accommodating stuff, Who Sadly have to do more than their job! Today I cancelled my membership as I am reduced now just to swim because of my disabilities, Today they have decided to accommodate everybody else apart from the people who use it regularly, Totally squashed in and unable to swim length, I apologise for three people. I hit on the slow side but sadly not the ones that I hit in the fast lane as they were too busy swimming. What a shame as it was my only activity.

   Never answer the phone. Never enough staff to check people in, causing you to lose time from your session. It’s a real struggle to get a certificate for a child passing stages. Shouldn’t have to ask multiple times for a certificate and then to be asked to fill it out yourself as they are too busy!! Happened on 2 occasions. Showers have been cold the past few weeks too. Really disappointing & looking to move elsewhere.

   Absolutely beautiful location for my son's 4th birthday. All his friends (and parents) loved it, no need for any entertainer or extra activity as they were fully occupied with running around (as 3-5 year olds love to).

   I have only used the training pool recently but found it warm and large enough to have plently of space. Since I was with my youngest we used the mens group changing room and unfortunately a lady walked in without realising (not the first time).

   Managed to book 1 family swim in last 4 months (only 13 other people in pool), app not set up to book kids in without paying again. Paying 110 a month for swimming lessons that is meant to include family swim time and an admin error had them booked into another leisure centre so no space for them now, even though space when I booked they haven't honoured it and taken responsibilty for their error . Terrible terrible service.
