I decided to take the leap and take up dance classes again after quite some time away. I was so nervous but I didn't need to be because Jane Silk is possibly one of the most wholesome wonderful teachers I've ever had. They truly bring the best out of you and help you to let go of feeling insecure or worrying about not being perfect. They reassure, push in a gentle way but respect your boundaries to and absolute T! I've been three times now and I imagine I'll keep going ! The studio itself is a lovely little space and the people who go are all great! If you're on the fence about going dont be, just take the leap and you'll be so happy you did.

Amazing studio with fantastic, talented and highly knowledgeable instructors. Provocafit is such a welcoming, supportive and inclusive place that now feels like a home. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to start their pole or dance journey or up their skills.

I highly recommend this studio! If you’re thinking about starting pole, this is honestly the best place to begin your journey. Shona and her team are so lovely, supportive, and welcoming — and it’s such an uplifting vibe from the moment you walk in. The classes are always fun, empowering, and never repetitive, so you’ll never get bored or feel stuck. My personal favourites are Mastering Spin Pole and Sexy Pole — I always leave those classes feeling sexy, strong, and on top of the word! I’ve been attending since 2023, and the growth I’ve seen in both my dancing and confidence is something I never thought possible. I truly don’t think I would’ve made this kind of progress anywhere else. Whether you’re brand new or looking to level up, this studio will support and challenge you every step of the way!

Provocafit is an incredibly welcoming, liberating and empowering space, and I am honoured to be able to call myself a student and part of the amazing family Shona has built here. I couldn't recommend this studio more, I started in around March this year and I have been introduced and encouraged into doing incredible things that I never thought I would be able to do. My confidence has grown by a tenfold and I can still remember my first class and how attentive Shona has always been in ensuring I, and all of her students, are comfortable and able to achieve incredible things even in just one session. The studio is always clean and inviting, with smiling faces all around you, encouraging and supporting you all along the way. Whether you are looking to start your pole journey, further your skills, enter into the world of dance or burlesque, or so much more, there truly is something for everyone at this studio, with a family at the heart of it.

I’ve been coming to provocafit pole & dance studio for a couple of months now and have never been to somewhere so welcoming, friendly and with such an unbridled sense of community and friendship. As many, I was quite nervous about going to my first pole class but Shona made me feel at ease instantly and was very encouraging. Although it was very challenging initially, I kept coming back and kept trying new classes and getting more and more involved! Now, having got to know the other students as well as the instructors, I can say that this truly is a place that encourages you to show up and celebrate YOU. Nothing makes me feel more empowered than when I’m sliding across the floor in a dance class, or when I finally master a heels pole combo. It’s truly a brilliant feeling and I wish everyone could experience it! Shona always reminds me not to stick too strictly to the counts of the music or to be too rigid and self-critical with a combo, because all of our bodies are different and we will all be more comfortable with different moves or tricks. Thinking of this when I’m messing up the heels choreo or my hands are too slippy and can’t grip the pole, reminds me that I don’t need to compare myself to the person next to me, all I need to do is enjoy myself and enjoy moving my body! Which is, I think, where the sheer joy and empowerment of pole comes from. You’re just dancing or training for yourself and the sense of achievement you get as you watch yourself grow and progress is unlike anything I’ve ever done before! Thank you, Provocafit, for being so wonderful!!
