   After returning to the gym after a couple (cough! cough!) of years out I was happy to find that the Leisure Centre was still as I remember it. Lots of smiling happy faces (some of the original lot - some new meaning new names to remember), staff and guests willing to have a chat, and a range of facilities that are perfect for the casual to medium gym user. The gym has obviously had money spent on it and the equipment there is of top level. There are plenty of machines, free weights and pieces of CV equipment to keep anyone busy for an hour or more. As previously mentioned this location is not for the 300kg bench pressing lot...but the equipment there is plenty good enough for anyone wanting to lift big or tone. The gym is well lit, GREAT air conditioning, and on top of this all...clean! Almost every day that I am there I will see staff cleaning down equipment and mopping/vacuuming the floors and gym equipment to make sure it is spotless for others to use. Dry change areas have always been spotless when using them and the lockers always available when needed. I can't comment on the pool as I do not use the facilities, but on a very random work occasion I had need to access the wet room changing and found this (again like the dry change) to be spotless. Facility can be very busy during swimming lessons/end of school, however this is testament to the popularity of the centre. If (as a visitor) you would prefer to avoid these times then it is easily done. Once again want to stress how brilliant the experience is being back. All of the staff have been great and welcoming. There has never been a time when I am not met with a friendly face or a verbal "hello!". From gym, reception, pool, management...all across the board....fantastic! Yes they can be busy at times...but it is a busy centre! Easily worth the monthly subscription! Plenty of car parking outside in the private gym carpark...although watch out for Sat/Sun parents using it for the unrelated children's clubs on the front field. It can get busier because of this, however this is not the fault of the centre.

   Lovely local Leisure Centre. My daughter has just passed stage 10 and will now go on to Rookie Lifeguards. All staff are polite and friendly and the swimming instructorshave been great on her swimming journey. Thank you

   The gym is extremely limited, but sufficient for beginners. The pool is a good size, and great for the family swim. You do sometimes have to wait, however.

   Enjoyed a swim with the granddaughter, changing rooms are adequate, pool could have been slightly warmer but overall it was ok. The only niggle was some people complaining as they were trying to lane swim during a general swim.

   Good value for money, exceptional customer service, good size car park. Just two issues stopping this place from being 5 stars rated: 1. Lane swimming is not possible outside bookable only sessions which are only few/couple a day 1 hour slots. Since there's only few you end up sharing very narrow lanes with six plus swimmers 2. Gym area had been refurbished and equipment is nice but it's bit small. If you come off peak you are alright otherwise it's a challenge to keep your routine while having to wait for someone to finish.
