After eight years of consistent training at various gyms, I can confidently say this is one of the most disappointing facilities I’ve experienced. Cleanliness is a major issue— the gym floor is often filthy, with dust, grime, and even unpleasant odors that make workouts uncomfortable. Basic hygiene standards are clearly neglected, which is unacceptable in a fitness environment. The equipment situation is equally frustrating. Very few machines are available, leading to constant waiting times, and many of them are poorly maintained. Loose cables, worn-out padding, and malfunctioning machines are common, making workouts inefficient and sometimes unsafe. It feels like maintenance is either ignored or postponed indefinitely. For a gym that charges regular membership fees, the lack of investment in cleanliness and equipment upkeep is disappointing. A gym should motivate and support progress, not create obstacles. Unfortunately, this place fails to meet even basic expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone serious about training or long-term fitness.

Great gym for the price you pay, by all means go and pay treble the fee and for what for , Nuffield Rugby has a great team everything you need to get fit , Machines do seem to take along time to get fixed sometimes but plenty of alternatives to use. In general a great gym with good facilities and great staff who always welcome you.

Came over 2 try rugby's facilities as a Warwick member. And to be honest I feel like I'm getting ripped off at Warwick site. Rugby pool twice as big! Gym layout much better! Over to floors. Warwick feels overcrowded with gym equipment crammed into one floor. Yes some of the facilities do feel dated (changing rooms steam room pool area) but that doesn't matter the whole experience feels much better. Honestly don't know what I'm paying extra for at Warwick apart from the snobbery of the location.

PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY. We work with global talents in sports, business and entertainment. Unfortunately, we had to immediately pull one of our beloved clients out of this gym & health centre after we were notified that one of the lifeguards with a lack of courtesy interrupted him in the pool and told him with a straight face that he could not spend 20 seconds or any time under water (even 10 seconds according to him) doing breath control training because it is apparently now banned (adding that someone lost their life in another Nuffield facility recently). The lifeguard in question has been identified as a thin young man under 25 years of age. Our highly esteemed client has engaged in elements of marine training for several months at this very same facility, to prepare his body for combat conditions and also condition his body to the highest standard possible for professional commitments. Nevertheless, during these months no other lifeguard has ever approached or notified him about this surprising policy. In fact, they have witnessed without saying a word in many instances. We had to therefore intervene expeditiously and protect our client due to major inconsistencies on the part of this facility and its staff. He simply expresses that he would have loved to know earlier to save time and inconvenience. According to the young lifeguard, who self declared to have two years experience at the facility during the brief exchange, swimming under water for 10 seconds is ok, but going down to the bottom of the pool for 10 seconds (or any amount of seconds) and coming back out of the water is banned, under any circumstances (again keep in mind our client has been engaging in both actions during various selected & scheduled sessions). One final word. The hygiene standard of the steam room is hair raising and nauseating, and it simply has to improve. And this remark is extremely generous. And there could be more to say about other things but we do not deem them to be worthy of mention at this time; because they are just that - unspeakable. We value clarity, consistency, elite attention to service and endless possibilities to name a few. And we really thought this facility aligned with our objective to bring the best for our interests. We were wrong. We could have moved on, said nothing but hey, it's not about us. It's about preventing other people that value the same things we value from going through the same disappointment. We are human. you're human. So if you expect premium from here, don't kid yourself. Avoid the headaches. You deserve to be valued don't you?

This gym is like Marmite – you’ll either swear by it or swear at it. For the privilege of paying £64 a month, you get the joy of watching broken machines gather dust for weeks on end. Six weeks for a fix seems to be the going rate – plenty of time to grow a beard while you wait. There’s even a resident “building services” guy who struts around looking buff in his t-shirt… but what he actually builds (or services) is anyone’s guess. Answers on a postcard. Some staff genuinely shine – Sam, Leonie, Hannah, and Zuzannah make the place feel welcoming. Then there are others who look like smiling might be a health risk. Honestly, a two-week crash course in “basic human cheerfulness” would transform the place. Megan, it won’t kill you to try – promise. The steam room? Imagine an old people’s home with a dodgy boiler and you’re close. The smell is enough to knock you sideways, and recently it’s been so cold I half expected penguins to waddle in. To be fair, the classes are excellent – the one thing that consistently feels worth turning up for. Overall: If the machines worked more often than not, and the staff could crack a grin now and then, £64 a month might not feel like daylight robbery. Until then, it’s very much a love-it-or-hate-it affair – and I’m leaning towards the latter. UPDATED SINCE REPLY AS CAN'T SEEM TO REPLY TO REVIEWS Thanks for the reply. I do have to say though, it feels a bit like déjà vu — the same ‘please contact management directly’ line pops up under every review, like it’s on autopilot. The issue is, I have contacted the management team before, and funnily enough, nothing was ever done. So being pointed back to them again feels a little like running on a treadmill that isn’t plugged in — a lot of effort, but you don’t get anywhere. The whole point of leaving a review here is to give feedback publicly, not just to be redirected to the same email address where things quietly disappear into the void. It would be refreshing to see an actual response to the points raised, rather than the same copy-and-paste reassurance. If members are taking the time to write detailed reviews, it’s probably worth taking the time to give more than a stock answer. That way it might actually feel like the feedback is valued — and who knows, maybe even acted upon

Great gym. Nice staff. Very clean. Sometimes to many people you wait to long for everything. Dificult to book some exercises like yoga or other. Booking start at 7am on internet and on 7.20 class full. Swiming pool is ok.

It does not feel like a premium gym, management/reception behaviour is not great. Equipments are old.

Dependent upon what you use the fitness centre for is the deciding factor on whether the gym is for you, at the higher price point than most other gyms. If you like training in classes then, they have loads of classes, I don't use it for classes, just weight training and a little cardio. Whenever I've been during mornings and evenings the weights area with free weights upstairs is always busy, there's around 4 benches which are all in use, and is difficult to get a turn on the bench, and there are also only a few free weight dumbells and barbells.. The resistance machines usually less busy, but some are dated, squeaky or have ripped material which cuts into your skin, making training uncomfortable. My favourite thing about the centre is the sauna and steam room, plus swimming pool are all good, and nice after a hard day at work. They have closed the jacuzzi to save energy. There is a good selection of cardio equipment, and the in built TV on some is a nice touch, but sometimes doesn't work if running hard on the treadmill. The new techno gym treadmills downstairs are good. The changing rooms are clean, but you do get a lot of people who don't cover up their modesty. Plenty of showers etc. The people who use the gym are quite friendly as are the reception staff. But I personally wouldn't become a member as I prefer more benches and weights as my current gym which is less than half the monthly cost and has around 30 benches and weights ranging from 4kg to 65kg dumbells. I used a trial for 10 days which I got from my M&S sparks app, I will miss the sauna and steam room, but the weights area is what is most important to me and will stick with my current gym.

Overall it's good , but the cycling equipment is really tired and old . I'm glad I'm on a lower rate because if I were paying full wack I'd be super annoyed about the quality of the equipment being old and tired . ( Spinning bikes in particular) . Us members have been asking about it for a couple of years now and keep getting the same response " we have asked head office and it's not a priority, there opinion is if it works it's good enough " . I know they have lost quite a few members due to this . Other than that , the pool is always clean and the changing rooms are as well . The classes they offer are really good . The staff are always friendly and greet you when you enter and leave .

Good facilities. Equipment is fairly decent, upgraded about a year ago. 2 studios for classes which holds a range of activities to chose from such as yoga, body pump, zumba etc. There is also a separate cycle studio. Has a Swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Gym itself is not bad either, good free weight and cardio section. Could have more machines and of different varieties. Ground floor has good few equipment also. Quite expensive for membership if you are only going to be using the gym. So only worth it if you're going to make most of all the facilities available
