Disappointed with Food Quality I ordered four Chicken Shawarma Boxes with chips, naan, and salad. The food was overly salty, some items smelled off, and it gave my family stomach aches. This was disappointing, especially since my first experience was excellent. Hygiene and consistency need serious improvement.
I love kebabs and have been eating them every day at different places for a month to find the best doner kebab in Bristol. And I found it - it's Simple Shawarma. 100% recommended. Tender and fresh meat, homemade sauces, and fresh-cut first-class vegetables. I would eat there every day if I had the chance!
These guys make literally THE BEST kebab wraps I've ever had in my life. I've only recently moved to Whitehall, when I started getting food from simple shawarma. They make the wrap by hand on the spot, throw some dough in a pan and stretch it into a freshly made wrap. The meat is delicious, cooked to perfection, very juicy and tasty. The place is spotless clean, and the staff is very friendly. Prices are lower than in most kebab shops in town. I am a regular here and I will keep coming back. Thank you guys for your hard work ♥️
I recently visited Simple Shawarma and ordered the mixed shawarma with rice, chips, and naan bread, and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic meal from start to finish. The mixed shawarma itself was packed with flavour—beautifully seasoned, tender, and juicy. It paired perfectly with the warm, freshly made naan bread, which was soft with just the right amount of chewiness. The chips were crisp and golden, not greasy at all, and the rice was light, fluffy, and cooked to perfection. Everything came together even better with a generous drizzle of their chilli and garlic mayo sauces, which added just the right kick and creaminess. I was also really impressed with the salad selection. There were loads of fresh options to choose from—everything looked vibrant and clean, and most importantly, it all tasted super fresh. It's clear they take pride in using quality ingredients. On top of the delicious food, the prices were very reasonable. For the portion size and quality, I felt like I got amazing value for money. The staff were another highlight—friendly, efficient, and clearly know what they’re doing. They handled everything with professionalism and made sure every customer was looked after. Overall, I had a great experience at Simple Shawarma. The food was delicious, the portions generous, the staff welcoming, and the prices more than fair. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying and flavourful meal.

It’s local to me so have been going there regularly for a while now. Best £6.50 you could spend for freshly made food to go in Bristol. Absolutely stunning meats, salads and sauces. Couldn’t recommend enough (my favourite is the mixed meat wrap). All the guys are really friendly and hard working.
Delicious, fresh food - my team and I all ordered the mixed shawarma wrap (lamb and chicken) with a selection of fresh homemade salads and sauces. Massive portion as well, great value for money. Will definitely be going back!
My colleagues and I came in for take out last week and it was delicious!! Seriously generous portions, tastes amazing and the staff in the shop were so lovely. I'd highly recommend them and can't wait to go back :D
