I have used Pet Fayre for a number of years since getting my first ever reptile. Seb was massively supportive in educating me and sign posting me to vets he trusted. Over the years as I've added things to enrich my dragon and improve my care Seb has given me arguably more support and focus than I deserve. Only recently he helped me with my first ever Bioactive set up which I have kept away from due to anxiety. However due to his patience in talking me through the steps as well as repeating them without frustration, how to prepare the layers as well as how to maintain it correctly and safely. With his evident years of experience with reptiles I always feel confident in asking him the stupid questions I can't find answers to. As a result Pet Fayre is easily the best pet shop in Stroud if not the Gloucester area. The genuine love and care that is on display in his store puts him miles ahead of his contemporaries.
Discovered this pet shop today and to my delight it sold live food (for my frogs). Good to hear that they are hoping to diversify into selling some exotic pets and preparations were taking place. Very helpful and approachable staff. Good luck with the expansion.
I'm a regular, love this shop. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, does not mind chatting about the animals or about any questions you have. Excellent care of the animals considering how little space there is.
