What's the point of a pharmacy if it can't actually take and give prescriptions? As as useful as a chocolate fireguard this place. A company as big as Boots should be able to do better. Is this a sign of another high street retailer in trouble and the next domino to fall and be lost from the high street, with service like this wouldn't be a big surprise.

I am writing this review because I feel sorry the staff in the Pharmacy are getting a hard time, it's not their fault if the system is broken. I'm sure I would find it difficult to be delivering good customer service, if all I got was complaints for things out of my control and trying to do their best. Just heard this store is closing in 6 months, so there will be something different to complain about

Once again. Disgusting service from Boots. 3rd time in a row. Last time I will ever go there. 99% of people in England of super helpful and kind. However boots staff seem to take a perverse delight in ruining peoples days. Would have taken the rude lady 30 seconds to help me. The box was literally half an inch from her eye and even after I explained why I couldn’t come back that 30 seconds was just too much effort. Shocking shocking shocking.

Booked Flu Jab here. 1 day before they cancelled due to no Pharmacist available. Refused to reschedule saying they'd ring me 'next week' - they didn't. They NEVER answer the phone so don't bother ringing them. Had to go there, only to find they close for lunch for an hour - why isn't that on their website? Finally got in and it took 15 minutes to sort out a new booking whilst big queues built up. Reason for no call back - too busy. Reason for not answering phone - too busy. Not too busy to take my money - "I didn't, Boots did". "You're a Boots representative". "Oh yeah I run the company". Close the branch down. Go to West Hill instead where the staff are brilliant.

Great shop, the running of it is an absolute joke. Slow, unhurried staff working at a snails pace while the queue builds up. No dedicated cashier on the till so you get stuck in the prescription queue whilst trying to buy one item. McDonald's has more competence in it's staff.

Hugely under staffed, staff on duty are under massive pressure and sadly appear poorly trained. Boots has gone from an High Street icon to a poor, tired and aged company that clearly has lost it's way.

Very rude staff, 3 stood behind the till and didn't other to even look up u til 5 minutes after. Didn't want to help with my important prescription, told me to go else where and when I asked what I could buy over the counter to help they said o. So tried to book flu jab because they had signs up everywhere to then be told they don't do flu jabs. Biazzare, absolutely awful experience

Visited other pharmacies who could not fulfil my prescription. Thankfully, Boots could. The staff were very helpful and very nice. We also visiyed the shop area and was helped by a lovely young lady called Brooke so helpful and polite. What a lovely group of people.

Every time I needed something from this pharmacy in the last 8 months or so, it’s been a hassle. The prescriptions are never ready, they are closed during working hours, they often don’t have the medication too. It’s very frustrating. It feels like they are going downhill.

They are now so understaffed they no longer operate the late night pharmacy hours at all. They are also, incredibly, quite regularly closed during weekday and weekend daytimes. Reasons posted on the doors include IT problems, general short staffing, and inability to get a pharmarcist. Sometimes a pharmacist visits for a few hours allowing the shop to randomly open for a few hours. The phone often goes unanswered making it difficult to know when you can come and collect your prescription. In fairness, if you show sypmathy to the staff that still work there, some of them are very sympathetic and as helpful as they possibly can be to your predicament when you're left without your prescription medication for days on end.
