I have taken lots of jewellery into Boormans. The work has been excellent. They are very helpful, knowledgeable and great value for money! Highly recommend them!
After having a poor and frankly quite upsetting experience at a jewellers in West Byfleet, I was delighted when I picked up my perfectly re-sized rings today from Boormans. They were recommended to me on a local Facebook site and I wasn't disappointed. Amanda was understanding, knowledgeable, and patient and most of all, resized my rings correctly! I got a call quicker than expected to say they were ready. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and would def use again 5*
Family run business, always helpful and friendly. Have been using their services for many years, going back to their old shop in Guildford. My first point of call for a watch problem, they're currently servicing my Tag watch...
So my Gran went in this store for a simple watch adjustment she was told she needed 3 links out and was charged £35! Which is way over priced. When she got home it was too tight so she went back in and he charged her another £35. So how is that possible if he measured her wrist and did the fitting? He also paid her the bare minimum for some very expensive pieces of jewellery. He took advantage of her because she was vulnerable. I will be taking this further as I am completely disgusted in his fraudulent behaviour. Stay clear of this shop. I only gave 1 start because I had too.
Following a phone call to Richard a week or 2 a go.. i sent my Tissot T-Touch back to Tissot to change the battery, and got an email from Tissot wanting over £350 as they cant just change the battery without a full service.???. No Ta.. send it back to me with out any work or charges made - robbing bleeders.. Well it went to Boormans this morning for a try to save the day, and with a wave of the masters magic wand with in 5 minutes a new battery installed and all in working order. I only gave them 5 stars as 10 was not available.. Faultless service from start to finish.. many thanks for the top notch work. Martin Smith.
I was after a sapphire ring and thanks to Amanda I have finally exactly what I was after. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and patient especially when it came to sourcing the perfect sapphire. I have used Boormans for repairs/resizing in the past, they are really friendly and always happy to share their expertise to ensure you get the perfect piece of jewellery
A good old-fashioned jewellers who know how to work with an old piece of jewellery. This is the place to restring some pearls, resize a ring, polish silver etc.
First time I've used them, albeit for a relatively simple watch job. Staff/Owners were really friendly and eager to help. They did the job there & then and gave me excellent advice for future reference, all at a really affordable price. I would definitely use again in the future. Thanks
They do watch batteries at a realistic price and they do water pressure tests on expensive watches. Keep it up
I went to Boormans Jewellers to have a stone replaced in a special ring. Their service was excellent and very professional. Every care was taken of getting the right stone for me and the finished ring looked brilliant! The price was excellent - much less than what I expected. In all a most worth while experience with a very lovely family run business. I highly recommend this jewellers. Thank you from one very pleased customer :-)
