   I live in Kilburn and I got to know Maqam Centre due to Thais Turri classes. She is a very dedicated teacher, keen to details and in providing new ways to make our bodies strength and healthy. I am very happy having a teacher like her close to where I live. The Maqam receptionists are always very kind as well.

   I kept on getting ear infections at the Maqam Centre. The pool is far too warm for long working hours. Meaning bacteria thrives and the chances for conjunctivitis, diarrhoea and ear infections increase. Poor pool hygiene management. I was told I still had to come to work even though I had an ear infection in both my ears. My colleagues were also treated the same. And the cafe staff are miserable. Probably because they are overworked too. Poor management.

   I have just started swimming lessons with my 2 year old granddaughter and I really wanted to say what a fantastic place the Maqam Centre is. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and very encouraging. The facilities are truly excellent and cannot be faulted. Our instructor, Alejandro is superb. The lesson was fun and engaging and my granddaughter can't wait to go back for the next one. Thank you all!

   I recently enrolled in swimming lessons at Maqam Centre and had a great experience. The instructors are friendly, patient, and very professional. They explain techniques clearly and create a comfortable environment, especially for beginners. The pool is clean , actually the whole place is CLEAN and well-maintained. I’ve seen real improvement in my confidence and swimming skills. Highly recommended for both kids and adults looking to learn or improve their swimming!

   Both of my children (aged 5 and 2 years) have been swimming with swimming nature (at the Maqam centre, Queen’s Park) since they were 3 months old. The teaching is excellent. Both of my children are confident in the water. Thanks to the wonderful instruction by her swimming nature teacher My 5 year old can swim 5-10 metres independently, which, in my view, is pretty impressive and testament to fab teaching. The staff are kind, welcoming and helpful. The venue is fab. I couldn’t recommend swimming nature enough!

   Can't help wonder if the last 4 reviews were left by the same person; all one star, unnecessarily vile and left on the evening of 29/7/22. They are more a reflection of the bitter and vindictive person who has left them than the Centre. I have been coming here for a few months now and always been treated with courtesy. Would recommend.

   I am extremely impressed My child has been a member for a few years now at this centre I am happy with the progression of my child from when he first had his swimming lesson to now being confident and a strong swimmer I like the fact they focus on technique . I highly recommend swimming nature.
