Extremely Disappointing Experience. Not Recommended for Young Beginners I do not recommend Chelsea Swim Spa, especially for parents of young or beginner swimmers. My children (ages 4 and 5) were removed from their beginners class by the booking coordinator, Anna, after they had already started and bonded with their instructor. Despite enrolling them in the correct class for their level, Anna claimed they were “not advanced enough", which makes no sense for a beginners class. It seemed like she was covering up a double booking mistake rather than prioritizing the children’s needs or development. The venue itself is a private home with very steep, narrow stairs, not ideal or safe when you’re accompanying small children. The pool area is extremely hot (around 35°C) and very damp, making it uncomfortable for carers waiting during lessons. While the instructor was good, the overall management was unprofessional and showed little regard for the children’s experience. I strongly advise other parents to look elsewhere for swimming lessons to avoid disappointment and disruption for your kids.

We’ve been taking our little one to Chelsea Swim Spa for a few months now and absolutely love it. The pool is warm, and the instructor is so friendly and patient. Highly recommend for baby swim lessons!

We privately hired the pool here, the pool was very clean and we had lots of fun, the owner is very kind, accommodating and professional. There is even a sauna and shower facilities. We were impressed with the overall experience and we would highly recommend for little ones. See you again!

Lovely pool. Kids had a great time. Great service, friendly and pleasant people to deal with. Great idea for family trip. Will definitely be back. (As it was 6c outside the room should have been heated before we come, but we upped the thermostat and it was fine).

We really enjoyed our visit to Chelsea swim spa for private hire. Was a very pleasant visit for all the family, warm pool, jacuzzi and we could also listen to our own music. Great activity for half term or after school. We will be back some time soon.

Thus is a family house where kids are running and the big jacuzzi is not a swimming pool and the place is not safe for babies and not adapted to children, it's like camping...its a jock! Waste of time and money...the only star is for the nice instructor that should be working somewhere else better for her!

Booked the Chelsea swim spa as a surprise treat for my wife and she really enjoyed it and so did i. It's an amazing spa pool and it's great fun when you switch on all the features like the jets(really powerful!) and the bubbles! You get the spa all to yourself during the hire period and it's completely private while you're using it which is a nice luxury. We would not hesitate to go back again. We loved it! ♥️ P.s one reviewer said that there were no changing facilities. This is not correct. There are small tents in the pool area that are private and that have been provided for you to get changed in. Also the reviewer said that the pool was full of other users. It is possible to book the pool for your own exclusive private use on weekdays but you have to request this and ask the owners what time slot is available.

It’s a nice idea and could be a hidden gem in Fulham/Chelsea - but it’s not as clean or well maintained as it should be. It is very cluttered and is about the level of cleanliness you’d get in a busy public swimming baths. I wanted to hire a private session at a small pool as I thought it would be much cleaner, which is paramount under the current climate. There was dirt and hair floating in the water. The edges of the pool area/steps and surround had mould and we’re in need of repair. It felt like it needed ventilating and I just generally didn’t not feel like it was worth paying £70 for. I think if they refurbished it, cleaned it thoroughly and installed a new enhanced cleaning regime in between guests - it could work really well. I’d be happy to pay more, for a cleaner experience. I could just about cope for an hour letting my toddler bob about - but if I’d have turned up with a younger infant or baby… I would have turned straight back around. On a positive note - the housekeeper who let us in was absolutely lovely - this review shouldn’t reflect on her in any way. The pool and pool area is very tired and cluttered and can’t be easy for her to maintain.
