Overall I'd highly recommend AK plumbing. We had a difficult to fix blockage in some pipework that other plumbers were not able to rectify. Andy was able to unblock it quickly, replace damaged pipework and did all of this whilst focusing on minimising the disruption. He was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and arrived on time.
Highly recommend Andy / AK plumbing. Andy has done various odd jobs for me over the last couple of years, both at home and the office, the most recent being just before Christmas when an old copper pipe burst in the bathroom - resulting in water coming through the ceiling in the kitchen! Andy came to the rescue, fixing the leak and getting the bathroom usable again. He was also super quick with his paperwork which made the insurance claim so much quicker/ easier! Not only is he easygoing and friendly, he’s also a tidy worker which is an extra bonus! Whether it’s an emergency or a planned project I’d highly recommend giving him a call!
I needed a new kitchen tap fitted as l was unable to do it myself after spending a day trying to! Andy came to the rescue and sorted it for me so we could finally have some running water again! Very responsive and despite it taking a little longer than anticipated due to needing some extra parts, the quote he gave us was what he charged us. Highly recommended!

From the planning right through to the fitting and completing of our new shower room, Andy was always ready to answer any queries we had. AK plumbing completely ripped out our bathroom suite and replaced the toilet and built a new shower cubicle, even expanding on our ideas with some extra touches. From the new lighting, down to the new flooring, we are very happy. He was always very professional with a 'nothing is to much trouble' approach. We are happy to recommend him and already have and I know someone who is already asking for a quote for a similar job based on our experience.
We were given AK Plumbing details by our neighbours as we were looking to get a new bathroom fitted. Andy came in and took us through the process, gave us a clear timeline for the work to be done. We are so pleased with the quality of finish and the responsiveness - we wanted to change something and Andy got on and sorted it so we got the bathroom we wanted.
My parents desperately needed a revamp to their bathroom. Andy met with them, discussed their requirements fully and then took upon it to sort the electrics, tiling and carpentry for all the work needed. My parents had nothing too worry about and as promised, within 10 days they had the bathroom they both needed. Throughout the process, Andy was mindful and thoughtful about their situation and went out of his way to buy all of the fixtures and fittings as my parents could not get to the shops.
