It is an oasis surrounded by lots of office buildings. It is a source of relaxation in the hustle and bustle of a city. The presence of running water, art and a sweet treats.
There’s something about the sound of water all around that makes chilling around here such a pleasure. On a lovely warm day, for me this is the only place to come and eat your food and chill with work colleagues or on your own, reading a book (if that doesn’t sound so old school these days). A bit of sculpture art thrown in and you’ve got an artsy, fartsy lunch.
Jubilee Park is a hidden gem right in the heart of Canary Wharf. Surrounded by sleek skyscrapers, this beautifully designed green space offers a peaceful escape from the busy city atmosphere. With its lush lawns, shaded walkways, and calming water features, it’s the perfect spot for a quiet lunch break, a relaxed stroll, or simply to sit and unwind. The mature trees and elegant landscaping create a serene vibe, and the addition of public art like the Fortuna sculpture adds a creative touch. It’s hard to believe such a tranquil space exists just steps away from London’s financial hub. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Jubilee Park is well worth a stop. Calm, clean, and beautifully maintained — a real breath of fresh air in the city.
One of my best place to spend time right middle of the crowded city business hub. You can read a book, sit and enjoy the view of best city skyscrapers and meditate yourself. The environment is absolutely chilling and calm. It's a small park comparing to others but relaxing in crowded place. Located right next to Canary Wharf station making it more accessible.
Stop right there!! Ok, I admit that I'm enamored with the place. From the art in public places to the relaxing sound of the many water falls, this is a place to sit and have a bite, smell the fresh air and day dream. Dozens of places to get what your mood feels like to eat. Great!!
In the midst of Skyscrapers, the jubilee park provides a greenery sensation for stillness and calmness. The mini water falls, the blooming flowers, the beautiful green trees and the care given to the park, makes it perfect for picnics, lunch, reading you best book or even proposing ☺️. It is situated in the hustling-bustling financial district of Canary Wharf and right beneath it, is the Canary Wharf Tube.
One of the best park in this area and probably busy at lunch hour and great in nights with a lot lights in and around water stream. It's probably better than other park near workplace especially when compared with central London park (Victoria or Hyde Park) or even St James Park. If you are in the area go and explore and it's nice ambience overall.
