Lovely birthday outing to masala lounge. I've been here a few times, and there is always great food and atmosphere.
A lovely Birthday outing We have been to Masala Lounge before over the years and the restaurant has maintained the quality of its food and it is somewhere to return to.We had a party of 11 for a birthday celebration and we all had a lovely meal. The staff were very helpful.
Arrived earlier than expected. Packaged nicely with 2 complimentary poppadoms, mint sauce and onions salad. Ordered a chicken tikka naga, mushroom pilau rice and keema garlic naan for me and my partner. The naga was nice and spicy, packed with meat and full of flavour. Good portion of rice and a decent naan. We ordered a chicken tandoori balti for our children with a keema pilau rice and chips and both children loved the food. Again lots of meat and cooked perfectly.
Delicious food and good service, what more do you want. We usually have their takeaways but decided to eat in and it was a lovely meal. Taking your own alcohol works for us too, there’s an off licence close.
Disappointed with quality. Rice was watery. Curry was bland. Naan bread was probably the nicest thing. Won't be using these again
Nice food, reasonable price. I've been there a few times with my children. It brings your own alcohol place but would recommend it.
Had a chicken balti and the chicken was severely dry, the onion bhaji was undercooked In the middle and was a sloppy texture. It’s not worth the money In my opinion, first time trying here and will be the last.
Popped in here saturday night’ Staff, Service & food was lovely” Only thing i can criticise on our visit was it was quite cold in there. Dont know if the heating was on But one customer even kept his jacket & wooly hat on whilst eating his curry..
Service and the staff were great and the atmosphere was lovely. I had the Lamb Madras, unfortunately I found it all heat and little taste. I don't mind hot food as long as its tasty. The mixed kebab starter was nice but also lacked taste.
