   Terrible customer service, food was tasteless and staff were slow waited over 20 min for a chippy. Tried to pre order but because I was driving I couldn't pay by card they wouldn't let me order. They do accept cash in store but won't let you order and pay when you get there. The man in black glasses is extremely rude. Advice stick to one of the other local chip shops

   Just home from holiday last night and so looking forward to a fish supper from Dundonald John Dorys. 39 minutes waiting for it and when I got home opened the box to find a disgusting fish, dark meat and to be honest all batter hardly any fish which was over cooked. Rang them and was told to bring it back which then shurged off with the excuse that the fish is very thin at the minute, no refund and they actually dumped the box in the bin without even looking at it. Money down the drain, will never be back.

   Ordered online meals for 6 people - collection - arrives back home to find the wrong order had been given - rang John Dorys in Dundonald and the female teenager who answered the phone had the most horrendous attitude - when I was told I’d need to bring it back down I asked if it could be delivered as this was no fault of mine - after being accused of shouting (which I can assure you I wasn’t) she then slammed the phone on the counter to go “sort it out” then came back with even more attitude than before! This is incredibly disappointing service for a fault of John Dory’s after spending a lot of money to feed my family as a treat………..maybe don’t let the “kids” answer the phone and get the more professional staff (if there is any) sort out the customer issues! Not good John Dorys!!!!

   Once a week we had fish and chips! then they put the price up, I understand fish is getting expensive and short supply. So it's only once every 2 weeks. Prices up again, last time so it's now once every 4 weeks. End of the month today fish and chips disappointing to see more over crooked batter, than fish. Keep pushing the prices up and quality down can see it being a yearly thing for us. Do you have Spot checks to see quality is keeping u?

   Called in to the dundonald branch Frist had in a long we very unsatisfied chips were swimming in greese stuck togetter burger bap was soggy with grease wont be back no salt or vinger waste of money wouldnt recommend to any one defferntly wont be back expected better from john dory

   We just went tonight for some chips and had the best service we’ve ever had here. The young man who was working was lovely, helpful and even ran our food out to our car. Couldn’t have been better
