   It used to be a really good restaurant with excellent homemade food and a lovely local atmosphere. I always enjoyed the paintings they had for sale as well. Unfortunately, it has lost its essence — it now feels like just another American-style restaurant serving frozen food at ridiculous prices. I won’t be going back anymore.

   First came to Murphy Brown's on Father's Day 2025, this was a last minute booking and I really enjoyed the food. It was top class. I came back with my partner and young child today and again walked away very happy. The service tonight was impeccable from John and the girls on with him. Thanks very much guys. Best of luck to the new staff member on her first night. Would definitely recommend!

   Called in for breakfast and opted for the large fry. Unfortunately the food was tasteless and the eggs were bone dry, giving the impression as though it has all been cooked the day before and then placed under heatlamps. The place itself is nice and relaxed, the staff were extremely pleasant and I'm sure it would be ideal to call in for a cuppa but as for the food I personally wouldn't be back again.

   This is a really great place to sit down with close friends and family and have a Delcious meal. The staff and service are excellent and this comment I offer from successive visits, not just one! A brilliant place all round. I can well recommend you too make a visit to enjoy the food and service. :-))

   Very tasty meal. Steak was a little over. Not so much I'd ask for a new one. Staff are extremely helpful and prices are reasonable.

   Nothing but great things to say about this place amazing food quality staff value and atmosphere. Also the menu is so varied and if you want something that's not on it you just have to ask and if they can accommodate you they will. Definitely will be back.
