   Would love to put a minus star, if the option were available. When calling, we heard abuse and shouting down the phone, the phone was put down on us twice, and then they wouldn't answer the phone full stop. An item was missing, food delivered was poor quality, messy and cold, portions were tiny. The food arrived late and person who came to the door didn't say anything, never mind apologising. Genuinely not one redeeming feature to mention...not worth £35, could have found better literally anywhere else!

   Would rate 0 if I could Ordered a king prawn curry at £15.95 to have 4 standard prawns in the entire curry dish. Called the restaurant to complain who were not interested one bit in helping. Don’t waste your money - far far better restaurants offering better.

   Completely not my taste of curry , butter chicken taste like cinnamon chicken so as one of lamb curry I have also ordered. Some might like it but me being hungry and couldn’t eat my food was not as good experience. Personally wont be ordering again and I’m not saying food is bad it’s just not my taste.

   Abysmal, all the recent negative reviews on Google about this restaurant are accurate. Unfortunately I read them after I placed my order. There were 3 or 4 missing items yet they had the audacity to put a box of egg rice (like sand) and write “free egg rice on the house” what a joke. Th food which included a set meal of many items was sent out too early, was not fresh, all tasted of low quality. The worst thing of all was the lazy delivery driver who called my mobile "struggling'" to find my house, the whole time he was sat in the car, and my husband ended up out for more than 5 minutes - when he returned he said he was the one who had to open the driver's passenger door and take the food himself. Staff could all do with a lesson or 2 on customer service. DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant.

   The food from the restaurant itself is lovely and I could not fault it. However, what ruined it for us was the delivery driver. Immediately after placing the order I had a passive aggressive and hostile phone call from the delivery driver. In person he was very rude and also clearly trying to come across as intimidating. Would not order from this restaurant again solely down to the delivery drivers they hire. Again, this is a shame as the food was lovely. Very disappointed.

   Have just eaten out here with a friend for my birthday. I love curry and used to eat here when I lived in Sherwood. I had forgotten how good Saagar is. The food tonight was mouth watering. We could tell it was freshly cooked as you could taste the fresh ingredients with every mouthful. The service was friendly and courteous. I've eaten here before and was not disappointed tonight. My friend had never been to Saagar before and said it was was one of the best curries she had ever had.

   Ordered via a delivery site but they still have that personal feel of doing that little bit extra. Really great flavours in their curries, everything felt fresh and was delicious! Will definitely order again and we look forward to dining in, hopefully some time soon.

   We have just finished one of the best takeaway meals that we have ever had delivered. Great portion sizes - not too much, not too little; everything piping hot, extras that we didn't expect, all delivered within seconds (literally) of the forecast delivery time. This top rating is very well deserved, thank you Saagar in Sherwood, we will certainly be back.
