Great, authentic food after a recent holiday to Vietnam! The staff are very kind and the majority of the menu is suitable for anyone gluten-free.

Went for our wedding anniversary. To try something new. And we're glad we did. Excellent menu. Excellent friendly atmosphere and staff. The food is awesome. Great choice of authentic dishes. Will be returning.

They're really lovely people who work there. The amount of meat and noodles in the soups is large - well worth the price. The ambience of course is good and the food very tasty. We went at the busiest time (6pm and it was the run up to Christmas) and they handled everything very well. Highly recommend.

super friendly and attentive staff. looked after us well throughout the visit! got a table immediately, food was prepared quickly too. nice decor. best spring rolls i’ve had! great drinks selection. vegan pho, which was my main dish, was lacking in flavour in my opinion, but it might be just my taste. would happily go back to try other dishes. on the pricier side, but generous portions!

Visited Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quiet, took a table immediately and the waiter took some time to run through the menu and make some recommendations. Got both the pork and prawn summer rolls, along with the spring rolls, for starter. All of it was very tasty, the pork a bit less impressive than the other two versions. For mains it was the pho with beef (2 versions) and the pork chops with the salad, all of it very satisfying. The portions were big, the pricing on the high end per dish but still reasonable, the food well prepared, presented and tasty - was missing only that "something" to make it stand out. The place is decorated with bright colours and has a few interesting touches, overall a nice experience and a safe choice to dine out.

Have been here many times now and still enjoy it every time. The food is amazing, if you want Vietnamese food cooked with quality ingredients (and authentic recipes) Viet80s is the place to go. The service is always outstanding, portion sizes are amazing value for money, and the quality of food is unbeatable it really is the best place to go for Vietnamese food in Nottingham. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon!

We were pleased with all the meals that we order. No prebooking was required when we went there on Saturday evening. There is a wide array of options, hence why it is worth dedicating more time than usual to the menu. The ingredients were fresh and versatile. The spring rolls were incredibly crispy. We would gladly return here in future.

Lunched at Viet 80's and really enjoyed it. The food was authentic and reasonably priced, but the real stand out element was the service, we were waited on by 3 different ladies and all were super helpful and appeared happy in their job and very attentive. If I had one issue it would be the price of the drinks but will return regardless. Also our 7 year old loved it..
