The pub combines rustic charm with a clean welcoming environment. Beers on tap are fresh and the variety satisfies different tastes. The menu is simple but well executed with crispy appetizers and filling mains. Service is friendly and keeps the atmosphere upbeat. Seating options range from bar stools to cozy corners. A reliable spot for anyone wanting good drinks good food and good company.

This is a really lovely pub. The new management are great. It’s family run and a lot of care is going into getting things thriving. Prices are great considering the close proximity to the town centre it is. Pool table and dart board available to use which is always a bonus. Karaoke nights, quiz nights and singers booked in so there’s always something to look forward to. There’s an outdoor area with multiple benches for the warm weather. So if you want to go to a pub where you’ll feel welcomed as soon as you enter, with have plenty of alcohol to choose from at very fair prices, this is the one to go to!

Very welcoming pub. Friendly atmosphere. Lovely comfy chairs to sit and chill in. Anyone taking their dog for a walk and fancying a pint, you and your pooch will be made more than welcome. Lovely outside space too to sit out in the summer. I highly recommend a visit.

Excellent pint with outstanding service! Cosy pub with decent outside seating area which will be an absolute sun trap in warmer weather. Well worth a visit and the resident pub dogs make the whole experience even better!

Went for breakfast. Food left in hot hold for god knows how long. Eggs dried out completely, sausages burnt, bacon raw and covered in grease, bread frozen and difficult to pull apart. Only decent thing was the orange juice because it came out of a carton. At least the one constant of the hole in the wall is you will always leave disappointed. Got a refund and left. Avoid.
