   Went to the thurland today l,go in regularly and had a chap selling magnetic boards claiming he had mental health issues and he needed help to get back on his feet so we happily gave him £5 trying to help him out. Annoyingly after that we were refused service as we brought stolen goods !!!!!! Really !!!!!!!!! Even more annoying the bar staff saw us buying it and never said anything!!!!!!!! If this is your policy then you should have notices stating this fact or at least tell your customers before watching them buy it. I will never enter this pub again absolutely disgusted with this service!!!!!! Service

   Sadly, I'd give this place a miss if I was you. Plenty of better places for you to try in the immediate vicinity. No ale on at all when I went in and the lager was flat and awful. Been a dive ever since I can remember and attracts the wrong crowd. If you see it, just admire the outside and keep on walking.
