Top notch cakes, pastries, coffee, and food. The menu isn't huge but is varied, caters to dietary requirements, and the quality of the food is fantastic for the price. Used to be a regular haunt, for brunch, very glad it's back open!

Lovely decor and tasty breakfast food. Very welcoming staff and enjoyed our visit

Very friendly staff, great selection of food and drinks. A great place to have American-style food in Ruddington and will definitely come again. Update: Recently service has not been amazing, and the tables are sticky as they are not being wiped down with proper cleaner but just a wet cloth. Food is still good.

Been here a few times and was impressed at first but service seems to have declined a bit since, becoming slow and a bit impersonal. Went to visit today with family and the place was closed - no sign to explain, nothing on their website or social media. We had specifically checked the night before to make sure the place was open as usual, too. Very disappointing. Visited another place down the road (Morton's) and will be going there more often!

The food is brilliant here and it has all the makings of a really cool place, we were probably unlucky this morning but unfortunately the painfully slow service slightly ruined our morning here! They were very short staffed (2 staff doing everything for a busy Saturday morning breakfast shift), which I’m sure wasn’t their fault and is totally forgivable if you can see the staff are making an effort to try their best and communicate with you (a simple ‘thank you so much for waiting’ or ‘we’ll be with you as soon as we can’ etc, none of which was forthcoming). We had to get our own menus (after 15 mins) and ask for them to take our order (after more than 30 mins). But the most frustrating thing was seeing our coffees sit on the bar for a good 10 mins, while the man who made them walked past us three times empty handed, served other tables, got things from the kitchen, but for some reason refused to bring the coffees over to us. In the end we asked him if we could take them ourselves (and walk the metre back to our table) but no, we weren’t allowed, and even then he wouldn’t bring them (presumably to make a point? It would have taken him under a minute), we had to wait a further 5 mins and ask the other waitress, and eventually out of pure frustration just got the (now cold) coffees off the bar ourselves. Such a shame as we were looking forward to a lovely morning somewhere we’ve enjoyed in the past - and we did have delicious breakfast, but the service really let them down this time.

Lovely fresh food, very accommodating, friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere to have lunch in. There were 6 of us in our party which included one baby. The host (who's name I didn't get but I think she was Canadian, was an absolute dream) and she went to extra lengths to the baby some food he'd enjoy. I would definitely recommend it, it's a really little gem.

Love it here! I have been 3 times and food amazing. Great staff and very friendly. Very comfortable and nice ambience. I love the loaded fries, tempura broccoli, Mac and cheese balls etc.. kids food great too. I would highly recommend. A place which deserves a regular visit.

Went here for brunch the morning after a 40th birthday party. We had a large number of people in the party ordering food from the menu. It took over an hour to serve our food. However saying that the food was lovely and I'm sure it was just a bit of a glitch trying to get our order sorted. Staff were really friendly. The place is suitable for children as well and they were provided with a menu they could colour in. Would go back again if I was in the area.
