   We’ve used The Corn Mill frequently over the years with us both living a short walk away from it. We visited again last night and had a very enjoyable evening. There is always a lively atmosphere there most weekend nights and last night was no exception. The big improvement for me (hence the five stars) is you can now order drinks and food directly from your table in the restaurant. This must be a very recent change as the sign saying order at the bar is still visible; but our server confirmed it when taking us to our table. It was such a pain previously to have to queue at the bar to order your meals in what is a defined restaurant setting. This new system is a very welcome change. Service at our table was excellent and the food we had was tasty and well prepared. The bill for two mains and one pudding with a beer and a bottle of decent Pinot noir came to less than £70, which we thought was really good value for money. Really nice food professionally served to us is an atmosphere with a great vibe last night. Five stars is the least the place deserves on this occasion.

   Nice food, friendly service and not too crowded. Went midday on a weekday. Great location on main road with entrance on a side road. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating as well.

   Comes with a large parking area as well as a spacious seating area. But, that is all. One of our steaks arrived burnt and the other dry. Had to request water twice before they finally brought it to us!

   Absolutely lovely Saturday lunch. Great menu and good value for money. Comfortable seating area. Easy to order via app or at bar. Easy to book table via app, although it was not necessary on Saturday.

   Nice to be looked after but sometimes it can be over the top. Someone kept checking on the table every few minutes and it felt too much . Conversation and eating our meal was constantly interrupted. Then we were asked if everything was finished with when we were clearly still eating . Asked if we needed more drinks when there were 3 full glasses of drink on table. It was just a little over the top on this occasion,however nice evening spent and food was good .
