   My partner and I ordered mushroom chow mein, chicken balls and curry sauce. Portion size good and the chicken balls and curry sauce were lovely. However, the mushroom chow mein went in the bin. It tasted like eating pure salt, it was inedible. Been a while since we last ordered from here but last time was also the same and had to go in the bin. Was hoping this time would be different but unfortunately not. Never ordering from here again. I don’t know what’s happened as it used to be so nice and best local Chinese but not any more. Total waste of money.

   Stone cold food, and they called us a liar for telling them if it was as hot as they said i would not be able to pick it up, and no.Refund offered I was after a replacement of the food that was STONE COLD and I think that it was reheated from there lunch time leftovers as the egg food yung was shrivelled up and dry just look at the picture. I will not go back again and I have been a loyal customer to you for years...... As for your comment that's a very good liy if it was that hot why was I able to pick it up with my hand as in the picture and why was the sweet and sour source a lump of jelly. All I was after was a hot meal. I had nothing to gain, just a hot dinner, that's all. £26 in the bin. Thanks for nothing

   I wont ever order from any other Chinese. The prices can be slightly cheaper elsewhere, but we’ve never been disappointed here. Tubs aren’t 90% veg, it’s always hot, usually delivered very quick, can’t think of a time we’ve had a complaint with the food.

   I've tried many Chinese takeaways in Ilkeston and this has Ben my favourite for some time. I've never had a bad meal from here. They have a "C Set meal for 2" that costs £20 and is immense! There's so much food it can serve 3! The one downside is there's often delays on collecting the food. The last time I ordered, they said they could have it ready for 7pm. I asked for it to be ready for 7:20pm instead...and they were still 20 minutes late, leaving me hanging around - and this was for collection. They need to be honest when people are placing orders, whether they can have it ready for the agreed time or not. Aside from that though, no issues.

   First time sitting in the restaurant today and was as impressed with the food as I have been with the 3 takeouts we've had. Particularly like the fine batter that was round my sweet and sour fish.. They do my fave meal very well too..Lemon chicken..the lemon sauce is in a separate container and the 2 large pieces of chicken breast sits on some salad..great if you want to share some chicken with someone who doesn't like the sauce.
