We had order to pick up and the staff was super friendly and welcoming, made us with we had dined in the restaurant. It was the best Chinese food we have ever had . All the meat is good quality and best flavours. Whilst eating we planned a visit to eat in the restaurant. Absolutely recommend everyone who likes high standards food eats here.
Our visit to Dragon Wells was an absolute delight from start to finish! The moment we warmly welcomed in, we were struck by the stunning decor, which created a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. Every detail felt carefully considered, adding a special touch to our whole experience. The food was nothing short of a masterpiece. We could eat the salt and pepper prawns and the smoked shredded crispy chicken all day long! They were absolutely beautiful and packed with incredible flavor. The sizzling dishes were another highlight, a true treat for the senses that made our meal even more memorable. The portion sizes were very generous, and we were so full by the end of our meal, we had no room for tea or coffee! The exceptional service matched the exquisite food and decor. The staff were friendly, funny, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home. The only downside we found was a lack of any music at the restaurant. We can't wait to visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience!
Enjoyed a good meal at the Dragon Wells Chinese and Thai restaurant near Nottingham. The Tom Yum soup, chicken lollipop, and Singapore fried rice were all well prepared and full of flavous, and the soft drinks were served well. Great service added to the experience and made us feel welcome. While the restaurant could do with a bit of a refresh, the tasty food made up for it. It's definitely a great spot for tasty Chinese and Thai dishes near Nottingham - highly recommended!
Tried for the first time. They started doing a buffet option on Sunday only, which I tried. You still have the option of ordering from the main menu if you prefer. In my opinion, the buffet menu was really good value for the money £20 per person, To start with, They brought prawn crackers out with a sauce, while we waited for the starter, the starter came out on as a platter, which you can order more of, the mains you go up as much as you like, afterwards they offer a tea or a coffee on the house, I would highly recommend the food was delicious, constantly checking and filling the buffet station up, inside is stunning, drinks plenty of choice, the staff are very friendly too they can't do enough for you, I've got to say I will be returning again.
Nice place, well worth a visit. Sunday offers buffet which is reasably nice, with a variety of food. Little dated. Cold plates, and bathrooms could do with a freshen up and soap. But really nice service from staff.
Just perfect, the hospitality, the decor (very traditional!), we were greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and excellent staff. Service time was reasonable, the food was just excellent! Also we were offered a free new year's drink! Great way to start 2023! Definitely would go back! Thanks Dragon Wells!
Lovely accommodating staff, amazing atmosphere and such delicious but inexpensive food. Will absolutely be coming here again! The waitress with the pink hair was so nice!
Myself and my husband have been for dinner tonight and had the set menu for 2 with a bottle of pinot noir. The food was incredible and the wine delicious! Really well priced! The service was faultless! We will definitely be back!
