we always had. takeaways. from here & always. spot on .....but. we had. butter chicken & a korma. the other night. & I'm sorry to say they was not up to standard they both tasted. same & bland.
I recently dined at this Indian restaurant and was truly impressed by every aspect of the experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality and inviting ambiance set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional meal. The menu offers a wonderful variety of traditional Indian dishes, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavor. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken — rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The garlic naan was fresh from the tandoor, fluffy on the inside with just the right crisp on the edges. Each dish felt carefully prepared with attention to detail and quality ingredients. Service was prompt and friendly, with staff who were more than happy to offer recommendations and explain the different dishes. Whether you’re new to Indian cuisine or a longtime fan, there’s something here for everyone. If you’re looking for a delicious, satisfying Indian meal, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I felt welcomed at this restaurant. The service was good. The food was really nice. I decided that I wanted some rice after I received a meal. The server was really fast with the rice and this really impressed me. I would just say that the interior could use a bit of love, and the naan could look a bit more presentable - perhaps serving it without cutting it? Also as it was just me, I think it was a bit pricey - at £28. See the pictures for what I bought. I have left as 5 stars because the service was very good and the food was lovely.
Could not fault the food or the service. Great menu, perfectly cooked and well presented by attentive staff. The interior just needs a little love/modernisation, I would highly recommend for a "work meal" or a night with friends, but not necessarily for a first date. With a lick of paint and improved toilets, Five Rivers could easily get a 5 star review.
Had a little date Saturday night with the wife, absolutely perfect night, lovely service, food was absolutely amazing, I had the masala, my wife had korma, Beautiful, very friendly atmosphere and lovely authentic music, would definitely recommend, and will 100% be returning.
Amazing food, the staff are friendly. We have been coming here for a few years now and Will keep returning. We find it to be one of the best in the local area
First time unenrolled ordering food from here, sooo disappointing. Ordered a basic chicken korna, pilau rice and stuffed naan . But got a very watering mess . The korma should be thicker and creamer, but just water. Although from what I could taste, it would have been nice, but the sauce in the korna was that thin, just put everything very wet
