   Amazing experience at Desire!! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough to anyone who wants traditional English roast. Atmosphere was warm and cosy very attentive staff The food was succulent and flavourful! We both went for the mixed meat we were very happy leaving. The chef came & had a chat with us which we really appreciated, pints on draught and lots to choose from. We left absolutely stuffed and will definitely be coming back.

   Myself and my partner went for dinner tonight. We were served by the lovely Cam who was more than happy to engage in conversation and help us out with any questions we had! I had the spaghetti bolognese and my partner had the chicken and mushroom grilled dish. It was all fantastic and we will be back again!

   Excellent, very tasty and filling Sunday lunch. Three of us and we each had something different: for starters, Caprese salad, Arancini with beef n Ragu, Arancini with mozzarella, and truffle. Then different mains: lamb, chicken, and roast beef. We each commented on the taste, with hickory which made it very pleasant but it was all cooked v well, esp the meat and the roast potatoes, I felt. Excellent latte coffees to finish, too. (We were too full for dessert!) We had a window table so very light, which was good. The service was very good, patient and informative when asked. The ambience was relaxed and chatty - bistro type pub? Toilets were modern n v clean too. Would definitely recommend.

   Beautiful meal at Desire. All of the food was excellent and really well presented. We recommend the spaghetti bolognese and pene bufala - both dishes were packed full of flavour and were generous portions too. The tiramisu for dessert is also a must! The ambience was so cosy throughout the restaurant and the service was excellent. Again, thank you to all the lovely girls who served us! Looking forward to our next visit.

   Can't comment on the food because my booking which was made 4 weeks ago, accepted and confirmed has been cancelled with less than 3 hours notice. Awful business acumen and won't be trying again

   Really lovely, came here for a friend's baby shower and had such a lush time, it's decorated beautifully which really adds to the experience, the lady running it is friendly and attentive great customer service, the roast was lovely too, all of us were very pleased to come here. I will be back!!

   This is a lovely and really welcoming place, we wanted somewhere to watch the World Cup that was more relaxed and low key. It was perfect. We had the grazing boards which were absolutely delicious. The quality of the food and wine was simply superb. The team were also just so lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back. I’d highly recommend 1620 for really good food at a decent price.

   What a lovely place this was! Love the aesthetic interior and the cute little tapas they served us. The cocktails were amazing and has a personal touch. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Perfect for date night or a soothing dinner out. Food was yum and so was the company.
