Wow!!! So good I feel guilty my husband didn't come along, but it was a girls lunch today ha! We had the festive sharing platter, festive fries and garlic mushrooms to share between 4 and the portions were generous, we were very well fed. The combination of flavours was gorgeous, we spoke of enjoying every mouthful. It was quite a lot to pull off from a menu point of view and it was very well delivered and received! The restaurant is decorated lovely, creating a lovely atmosphere. Staff made us feel welcome from when we entered to us leaving. Top points to the chef, thank you so much we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Superb!

We had a fab evening with siblings and partners. Great atmosphere. Starters and puddings were delicious, and three of our mains were good. Unfortunately my husband asked for rare steak, and it was closer to well done (he's not a complainer and said it was good steak just not done how he wanted it), and my sister and husband had very fatty meat in their pies (the manager was great however and dealt with their complaint in a very professional manner). They're doing a great job on the whole, but for the money, these basics need to be right. Hoping for 100 % next time we go.

We ate this afternoon and it was fabulous. Disappointed we didn’t have cash to tip service (not accepted via card) so hope this review helps. I had the Plymstock burger topped with brisket & my husband had the the fish, chips & curry sauce.

Our first time and we were impressed! The owners have done a great job of refurbishing the pub. Good signage and lovely flowers outside. We weee greeted warmly by staff and had plenty of delicious food. The toilets were clean although there was a dodgy flush in the ladies. We will be back!

Super friendly owner who served us. Great range of food. Very welcoming and kind to us, the children and dog. Lovely to have the play area outside. Would recommend. Also has plenty of parking which makes it easy to get to :)

The place is nice having a beer garden and the staff were pleasant. However, despite the portions being generous, we were dissapointed with the food. We had Sunday roast, I went for chicken which I was not able to consume, it was hard rock and tasteless, I ended up consuming my veggies only. My partner went for the beef and he found a massive black hair in between his slice of beef. He informed the staff and they made him another portion which he actually enjoyed. The coke was awful and the cappuccino was weak. If you want to avoid the struggle, bring your own knife. Would we come again? No.
