This is a modern, inclusive and friendly leisure centre which has recently undergone a fantastic refit. I'm very glad I joined - and 'thank you' to the wonderful staff team who work really hard to ensure everyone feels welcome here.

The website is shockingly bad Yes you've spent lots of money doing the place up but couldn't you spend a few quid building a proper website that's straight forward to use?And no I DON'T want yet another app on my phone..it's a leisure centre not a bank! In the end I gave up and drove there only to find no swimming slots available for another 2 hours If you really want customers to be able to use this place -proper basic website -paper timetables (for those without phones or tech savvy) -answer the phone..currently we're left on hold with stupid messages playing and no clue when or if someone will answer -allow people to pay cash for those who don't want to be monitored by your app/don't have a phone or tech savvy -keep spaces for walk in customers Until then, thanks but no thanks..you're just playing at being inclusive but you're really excluding many, many people with this truly terrible website Edit-A friend who speaks good English (but not as a first language) described moving to Easton and trying to book a swim but giving up because the website is so awful. How many other potential customers are you losing because of this problem?

It's not a bad space but there are issues with it. First, teenagers are free to go into the toddler pool, despite the larger pool being relatively empty; two teenage stood in the middle of the toddler pool throwing a ball to one another. Second, they halved the small pool so a little girl could have a swimming lesson meaning we were all squeezed into a much smaller space; it really didn't make sense. Also, building works are currently going on so it's incredibly noisy. The changing rooms are packed and some fathers have their young girls changing in the men's toilets; it's all very disorganised and could be managed far far better.

Genuinely terrible I've been a member for a few months because it is close to my house, but it has gotten worse and worse and worse. First off, they consistently have some sort of kids or teens program in the afternoons when I usually go after work. If you're a paying member, this is ridiculous. Unsupervised kids just messing around on the machines and sometimes actually play fighting in the middle of all the equipment. Plus, the trainers give pt sessions that involve a lot of movement in the middle of everything. It's really annoying. One time I was on the quad extension machine and a kid kept running almost into the machine when I would do a rep.... He was being coached by one of the trainers. What the actual hell? Lastly, as they are renovating the upstairs gym, they moved everything to the sports areas. 2/3 of the cable machines haven't been bolted in yet and it's taken them more than a week to do this. Utter disrespect for the paying members. Also this space isn't air conditioned and they've only brought one fan. Do not pay to be a member here. Completely terrible.

Booked 1 hr session for myself, hubby, 5 year old and 9 month old. I used to go here as a child in the 90s and loved it, especially the flume. Thought my daughter would enjoy it but i didnt know until i got there that the flume is only on weekends due to staffing. So, onwards to the communal gender based changing room. All i can say is YUK. Never seen such a filthy area. Absolutely disgusting. People wearing outdoor shoes all around the pool and other areas you would be barefoot. Cant shower before entering the pool so a lot of people bypassed and went straight to the pool, although the water didnt look dirty whilst we were in there who knows... My daughter really enjoyed her time there but I was just waiting to leave. As previous reviewer stated there is a refurbishment going on which has clearly presented issues when trying to keep the pools operational at the same time. I would only return if after the refurbishment there are plenty of positive reviews for cleanliness and facilities. Until then we will be sticking to kingswood and longwell green.

Anna is just the best instructor. She puts the kids through their paces and you can totally see the improvement. They all come out smiling too. They love it.

Best leisure centre in Bristol for the cost. Very well priced, good opening hours, and the gym is never busy. Good selection of classes and the pool is clean. Points to improve include staff attitude (get off your phones and smile for once - you're being paid to work), general maintenance, and more efforts need to be made to get the taxi drivers out of the car park

Pool was fine but the changing room floor and walls were filthy. Looked like years of grime in the corners. Thought there was a dead mouse but it was a giant filthy hair ball! Does no one inspect the standards of the cleaning? Are there any Standards?

As a whole the place is very dated and clearly none of the money made goes back into updating the facilities. The disabled call sign in the toilet been broken for over a month. Natayla and shalini are by far the worst swim teachers I've comes across. Previously watched natayla in the pool teaching stage 2 with fake lashes and a full slab of make up trying to avoid getting her face wet...yeah she looked stupid. Shalini stands of the pool side bellowing at autistic children who don't listen first time which is very embarrassing and demoralising. Apart from these two the staff as a whole seem nice and the managers are friendly.
