Visited the pool, which was lovely. The kids area is particularly good with interactive fun. Only downside was that the changing rooms weren't very clean.

Had read negative reviews about cleanliness etc, but we went to the Leisure Pool with two small grandchildren and generally found it a good experience. Clean, warm and welcoming.

The Forever Active session leaders are great but, it can be difficult to book on to a class, due to their popularity. Please put on some more Forever Active classes. Thank you!

Nice kids pool, lots for them to do, but odd rules/set-up around the slides. They're only to be used by children under 8 and parents can't go on them, but they're big enough that you can't put your child on the slide and catch them at the end, meaning that little kids can't go on them unless they have two adults with them. Seems needlessly restrictive, either change the rules or design the slides better. It's a good pool but not enough to be a priority for a family day out so it's unlikley we'll come again as my daughter can't use the slide unless I bring my husband to catch her. Bonkers.

I've left it a couple of weeks before I left a review because I wanted to give the leisure centre a chance to resolve my complaint, but as my last email was ignored I think it's time to post it. We booked the family pool for myself, my parents, and my children. At no point in the booking process does it say that the slides have an age restriction. All it says is that children under 8 must be supervised. My 10-year-old was bored out of his mind for an hour. I emailed to try to resolve the issue and my first email was ignored. After I sent a chaser I finally got a response which basically fobbed me off. I replied saying that I'd like my money refunded, and this email was ignored.

They reduced the pool temperature to save energy bills now my children refuse to to into the pool for classes because it too freezing cold! It's heart breaking seeing my children shivering in the pool then come out with purple lips and blue skin! Not good! If this doesn't improve I'll have to take them elsewhere to take swimming lessons!

Parking spaces are quite narrow, especially if trying to get kids in and out of cars. Family cubicles could do with being a bit wider and more of them too. Staff are okay, some friendly and helpful others are a bit frosty.

It has now become a seriously good gym...we went to the new Pure Gym for 3 weeks ..showers never hot...only 6 spin bikes...(although they were much better than the very old ones at Parish)...at £28 per month including classes, swimming, off peak badminton you can't go wrong.

As a local I have used this swimming pool for years. It just seems to be getting worse and worse recently. Ironically as you go in the changing rooms there are signs asking you to remove your shoes to 'keep the changing rooms clean' however they are disgusting, and I was there early in the morning. There is limescale, mould and mildew everywhere in and around the pool and changing rooms and its just generally dirty. The showers are really hot and the pool is cold. You book in for a family leisure session and can now only use the little pool, which wouldn't be so bad if everything worked but all the sprays/jets and often one slide is out of use. There was even sand and grit on the floor in one of the 'hot tub' pools. The main pool was empty during our session yet we weren't allowed to go in it. The lady on reception was very apologetic and polite, however the lifeguard seemed to be more interested in chatting with colleagues than being polite to the customers. It's such a shame as it used to be a great place to swim for all my family but we won't be going back again until things have improved.
