Takes away fans money willingly pre match. Then instructs doormen to only let home fans in post match. A totally unnecessary policy as most away fans would drift away for trains etc after an hour or so. The idea that fans can't mix in a pub is an antiquated idea anyway. For added context...................... I am a 65 year old who was with my wife and had no team colours on but deemed a threat to the safety of other pub users

Attended recently for a private function. I found all the staff to be very friendly and welcoming, which helped the function to run smoothly. The room we had was also a decent size with the DJ located at the top out of the way, so I didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Parking is a bit mad though - easier to get a cab

Not a bad lil bar, we've visited a couple of times, one of the few places you can get inch's cider which is a favourite with us. We've eaten here before and it's good quality food, actually better than I was expecting but not quite the restaurant quality it's priced at. Good selection of drinks, priced similar to The Sunbeam and George Wallis, with the food, the outdoor area and sports on I can't help but think this place would be jam packed if they priced closer to Billy Wright or The Old Still. The outdoor area is really lovely, tucked away as it is the surrounding buildings dampen the traffic noise and the trees add shade and also help give the impression you're not in the middle of town. The plastic wicker chairs are really comfortable the whole area was clean and tidy, a really nice place to relax and sink a couple of cold ones after shopping before heading home.

The Prince Albert is a nice pub. There is a wide range of beers, lagers, and cider. Although there were three hand pumps on the bar, they no longer sell any hand pulled cask conditioned real ale. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, it is a nice cosy pub with a good outside seating area.

Enjoyable evening had in this quite bijoux upstairs room. Imani's Dairy by the late Chantel Hall-Reid is a definite must-read.

No lager apart from Carling (which was rough), no people in there on a Saturday afternoon. 80's music. During lockdown this was my favourite pub playing modern music. The place was really busy then as well.

Good offers on drinks, staff friendly! They keep the place nice and clean. You do ask you to leave when your table booking is over, even if there's nobody else in there!
