Classic old school pub with great real ales and lots of character, it's like stepping back in time when pubs were proper, if you want quality beer this is the place to go and less than 10 minutes easy walk to the railway and tram stations.

Albrecht spotted this CAMRA Good Beer Guide entry. Had a recent refurb in 1900. Still, very impressive interior despite this. Four real ales on our visit. Had a pint of Dark Star. Excellent. There is a small rear beer patio. Posada apparently links to Inns and The Nativity. The Spanish have a 9 day Posada festival, one day for each month of Mary's pregnancy. A lovely friendly pub. Great visit.

The posada is a stunning Victorian era pub with mostly original interior, including tiled walls and bar fittings. The pub is of national importance. There is an excellent selection of beers larger and cider, including four hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when we called in. There is an outside seating area behind the pub. Regularly featured in the Camra Good Beer Guide. A great pub highly recommended.

One of the old traditional British pubs with great Saturday night live music

Very good pub less than 10 minutes walk from Wolverhampton Station. Three cask beers on handpump when I last visited. Courtyard to the rear. The pub is Grade II-listed with a ceramic exterior and interior tiled walls. Not too busy after the Spurs game at Molineux.

My favourite pub in Wolverhampton - serves a changing selection of good beers. The quirky interior looks like it hasn’t changed in many years! Lots of comfortable seating, including a nice beer garden at the back.

Great atmosphere, nice staff and a proper pub in the city centre. Small beer garden, real ale and a juke box as standard. We had some free chips on the house while we were there too. I'll let the photo speak for itself for you to make your mind up of its your kind of place.

Really nice traditional little pub. Some nice 'real ales'. The bar man was very polite and friendly. It was a chance visit as we walked past. Glad we did.
