The bar staff were perfect. Remembering what you ordered and always ready to serve you with what you want. I used to live opposite this pub in the 60s. Not much has changed. Only the staff and the decorations.
management is stellar really turned the pub around. fantastic prices none of that overpriced nonsense and the footy vibe can't be beaten (unless youre a west brom fan then i would suggest wearing your sunday best)

Quality place with quality beers. Pool table only £1. Decent place for a beer or several.
There is a wide selection of beer, wine, cider, lager and soft drinks on offer. There are three separate rooms including a pool table. There is a large covered area outside. The outside seating area is well maintained and comfortable. The inside of the pub has been decorated to a high standard. It has carpet now! The toilets are clean and well maintained. The customer service is friendly and efficient. This Victorian pub is well with a visit.
