My sons have been swimming with Waves for years now and they look forward to the classes every week. It's a fantastic swim school. The lessons are of a consistently high quality, while the environment remains relaxed, stress-free and friendly. I frequently recommend Waves to friends.
Waves have been fantastic with most my girls. My eldest is visually impaired and had 1:1 lessons to start but quickly moved to group lessons as the small groups meant her needs were always met in the water and is now a successful swimmer. My youngest is quite anxious, but the calmness of the waves team mean she has embraced swimming and now has a firm love of the water. I can't fault the team, they're amazing!
Waves have been very good teaching my daughter from a water confident non swimmer to a level she can swim above and under the water. My daughter continues to have lessons, the instructors are very knowledgeable, patient, positive and who you can tell genuinely want to be there helping their students.
My daughter had not had the opportunity to swim due to reasons beyond our control and they have been superb with her. They have got her used to the water really quickly and she is learning really fast. I have been delighted at the attention she has been given and has never been in a class with a ratio above 1:4. She has even had a one to one session. Three of my friends told me not to waste my time going elsewhere for lessons and I am really glad I took their advice. I highly recommend Waves.
Waves have been brilliant with my son, he has come on a lot since the lessons here. They are shorter but with fewer children and also great value for money compared to the local leisure centre. I've also had adult lessons with them which were worth every penny. For the first time in my life I've been taught properly how to breathe effectively whilst swimming, improving my stamina and confidence. Would highly recommend to anyone of any age whether a beginner or an improver.

I have no reservations in recommending Waves Swim School. There is such a great welcoming feeling and my kids loved their lessons, and when they were promoted to the next group, I was very happy that they were being taught well. During lockdown we are all waiting impatiently to start up again.
As a lady in her 50’s, I was taught to swim front crawl and within 11 months I successfully completed a 10k river swim. I was given great advice, support and encouragement and most importantly Waves swim school gave me confidence. It’s been a fabulous experience and I am very grateful. I would recommend Waves to anyone.
