   I fairly typical sports direct store. It's not one of their biggest or smallest. It's dense in terms of stock and not much room to move. The staff are hard to find as there are not many of them. But have always been helpful when I have needed them. Items and prices are as expected.

   I don’t look forward to going to this store. They don’t have many staff and if you can find one they don’t seem interested in helping. Store was not busy but still had a long wait at the till and the people serving there also found it hard to be polite with a ‘Do you want these or what’ attitude.

   Would give 0 stars but that is not an option. I tried to return an item after purchase less than 24 hours. But they only offer me credit which is eqaul a big No. The company does not care that is no product what others like to purchase. Just simply forcing everyone to leave the money there and walk away without any satisfaction or feeling they rights are respected. Will raise a complaint even of the Frasers group does not care about customers only about profits and share holders( might selling my shares to Inditex).

   The four star rating is based primarily on the range of products and prices which are actually pretty good. As a shopping experience it's a bit grim and finding staff to help can be a struggle and generally the the checkout process is pretty grim with staff who clearly don't get paid enough to care.

   Poor customer service and badly managed. Only one staff member on hand to assist with fetching trainers from the stockroom. Lots of customers waiting trying to get his attention before others could. I waited 20 minutes. The rest of the staff members on the other side of the store standing round chatting, didn’t give a toss when I asked if they could help out. Poor service and poor teamwork. I value my time more than second rate sports footwear.

   We had to go to the store having realised that we had been charged incorrectly for and item we bought at Meadowhall. Staff were excellent in sorting this and checking with the other store how the error had occurred. The manager then honoured the price that we should have paid even though it had been labelled incorrectly in Meadowhall. Really lovely girl serving us, I think her name was Hannah, and the manager was excellent (but I didn’t get his name). Great service all round.

   Member of staff was really helpful, we even asked about the boots fitting with football socks on, he only went and opened a fresh pack of socks and said try these !! I actually wasn’t expecting that kind of detailed help, granted we only spent £70 on a pair of boot but never the less he made the effort as we had him go back and forth 3 times for various boots. We chose the black pair in the photos and paid £70.
