   Literally just left the site, the girls on the desk were great. However, the brain dead wear house guys where terrible not listing just pointing and saying ask some one in the yard after being told that a million times when the things we wanted weren't in the yard! The first one was on his phone and was very annoyed he had to even talk to us then we ring on the bell that says ring to ask for help, guy comes out and guess what "go and ask someone on the yard" the 3rd guy didn't want to help either bearly spoke it was like getting blood out of a stone, he's like "which yard" LIKE WE ARE SUPPOSED TO KNOW. It's also raining really hard so the worker with the gloves on did help, begrudgingly and did it as slow as he could and tried to say that we had 20 and on counting we had 14 :) sort it out

   I've found the service to be brilliant. We get our LPG delivered by Julian, nothing is too much trouble for him and always give us plenty of notice before hand when he is due with the delivery. A genuinely nice bloke.

Excellent delivery driver off loading exactly where requested with a smile, none of the groans of other big firms delivery folk. Looking forward to working with Carvers who have been very helpful.    I've been to carvers many a time but really only go now for Auto Gas. They ahve the cheapest Auto Gas in the area at usually 69p a litre. Very friendly and knowledge staff and always smiling what ever the weather. Also a great place and reasonably priced building products.

   Very helpful and patient assistant. I must have spent a good ten minutes with him in the timber section before I decided on what I finally needed. He even went and cut down the long lengths I needed and to also fit in my car.

   Couldn’t fault this impeccable team at Carvers. If only we had a builders merchant like this in London hence the worthwhile road trip up north to Carvers. Would definitely make the trip again. Great selection and reasonable prices and top draw service. Thank you!

   This is an amazing place. You may find almost whatever you need for your projects. Products are good, there is a large choice and prices are reasonable. However, the five stars mostly relates to the Staff. They are extremely courteous, well informed and helpful. I would send employees from other companies to Carvers for a training about how to behave with customers!
