Excellent hardware store. Really good selection of stock, very well displayed, so neat and tidy and clean. Timpsons wanted £19.99 to change a watch battery. This store charged me £3.99!!..and a nice friendly chat while she did it. This has definitely become my new hardware store x
1st October 2021: 49A Pendeford Avenue, Pendeford, Wolverhampton, WV6 9EH A proper real gem of a hardware shop and in Pendeford village is an extra bonus for all boaters on the Oxley moor road/Autherley Junction moorings!! Only a 30 minute walk or so from the canal and an extremely friendly and welcoming person, Kevin! It had all the bits that we needed for our narrowboat and the prices were cheaper than what we would have paid at one of the the big multi national tools stores... SF/TS not plugging these on here as it's all about The Village Hardware shop. A BIG SHOUT OUT and HUGE THANK YOU to our KEVIN who knows his shop, hardwares and very knowledgeable about it all. Kevin, You are a big star and so enjoyed my visit and our chat about everything and anything...cheers buddy!! Went in for a bird feeder, came out with that and the seeds I wanted for it. Shop is well stocked with tools, locks, chains, lights and has very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about their stock.

This hardware store is outstanding. They have had everything I needed no matter how obscure. From firewood to plumbing fittings, kettles, and bath sealant. They had what I needed. As a local business it saved me lots of time travelling further afield. Very helpful too.
