Our first visit to Botel, having been to the superb Choklet many times on our last visit. What another great success - an amazing selection of wines and spirits, and the same great service. The first of many visits this week, I’m sure! Well worth a visit if you’re passing!

A superb sophisticated wine bar with a great selection of wines, bubbles and usual bottled beers. Definitely a place to visit if in Looe.

Love this place. Really chilled and welcoming. Super friendly. No better way to lose a few hours with a fabulous Cornish white wine. Highly recommend.

One of the best and friendliest place in looe. Good variety of wine from UK and around the world. Loved every visit and I didn't regret paying slightly more for a chilled few hours. I love the idea and wish them well with their venture.

We visited this Wine Bar when it first opened. Four of us enjoyed a drink and chatted with the owner ( who was very friendly and welcoming) about the new business and about wine. At the time, we had our 2 year old Granddaughter with us who sat quietly watching the children crabbing off the quay. It was lovely to sit outside across from the water enjoying our wine before going back to our accommodation. Whilst in Looe again recently we decided to return as the first experience had been very enjoyable. However, how things change! On starting to enter the premises, which was empty inside and had 2 people at at table outside, we were told that "you can't come in here with a pushchair, they take up too much room" Of course, we could have folded up the pushchair and put it under our table or seat, but wasnt offered any option. My daughter and son-in-law left, but I was so annoyed, I felt I needed to let them know how disappointed we were with their policy and general attitude and that even people with small children like to sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst on holiday. This was met with the comment "well there are other places you can go" Lovely! So, if you are adults, I'm sure you will be made very welcome and the wine will be excellent. Otherwise, apparently you can go other places! I had to put in one star, or it wouldn't let me post a review.

Visited in the summer and unexpectedly bought a dress and shoes. I so wish this shop was online because there were so many items I’d like to buy

Lovely lady in the shop, really helpful and full of great tips and ideas and suggestions, she even found a pair of shorts that suited my sister, that is no mean feat, I have been trying for years! Very honest too, I left a tunic top in one of the shops and she kept it back for me, very relieved and absolutely delighted to get it back Also very reasonably priced I will be back Thank you so much
