   Sunflower Fostering offer the best possible level of support especially in times of need, for us and our foster children. Over the past 14 years the agency have gone to great lengths to ensure that they know us as people and not just as carers which is important for feeling valued. They have never lost sight of the fact that we are ordinary people doing what is sometimes extraordinary things in order to keep young people safe. We are respected as professionals and in turn respect the professionalism, the commitment, the support offered and the space to safely evolve as a foster family. It's very reassuring that we don't have to be perfect, that really would be harder than fostering!

   From my own family's experience with Sunflower Fostering, if you have your own young children within your household, then I would respectfully suggest that you proceed with with extreme caution before embarking upon fostering with this agency. First and foremost I would strongly recommend that you ensure that the agency explains in detail the process they adopt and apply when completing the required risk assessment BEFORE a placement is made or accepted. Fostering is not an easy job so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

   We have been a fostering family for 8 years now and cannot recommend Sunflower Fostering highly enough. From the girls in the office to the hardworking social workers they are all amazing. The support they give us is outstanding and someone is always at the end of the phone ready to help you. Our birth children's views and welfare is always their priority and it is wonderful how they make them feel part of the team too. Our social worker is fabulous and sunflower fostering is one big happy family we are proud to be part of.

   If your reading this review your probably in the same boat as I was 9 months ago ! Trying to find the right fostering agency ? Well look no further ! Myself and my partner have been fostering for 11 years and worked for 2 other private fostering agencies before transferring to sunflower fostering in 2019, Honestly its the best decision we have made when it comes to fostering and we wish we had done it sooner. The fostering agency are very caring and offer you so much support. Sunflower fostering also offers fantastic training opportunities to suit everyones needs. The support network is outstanding and like I said before we have been fostering for 11 years now and I have never felt more supported or apart of a team than I do now. Thank you Sunflower ! Im so happy to be apart of an amazing organisation.

   Nothing short of fabulous from my experience . We have been fostering for around 8 years , its tough at times but the support network has been first class, from the social workers we have been assigned right through to the management and the office staff that help with the other day to day stuff. Any concerns we have had have been addressed and dealt with professionally . The matching process is spot on and the training you get offered is delivered professionally and their in abundance . We were recommended sunflower and i can see why, i wouldnt hesistate to recommend this fostering agency to anyone and wouldnt consider changing to another company, i dont think another company would even come close to the high standards sunflower fostering have set within childrens services.

   I have been a foster carer for 16 years. I joined Sunflower fostering last year and am amazed at the quality of service and support they offer. Fostering is a tricky profession at times and sometimes you need that little rates help. Sunflower have supported us all, and tailored what they offer to make fostering much more achievable and positive experience for us all. Importantly, they work effectively in partnership with the local authority, and seem well respected by other professionals. The children love the groups and events, and I have no hesitation in recommending them as a fostering agency.
