   Not like Shop Electric in the old days where the salesman knew the products inside out. Instead a young person reads the spec of a tablet, which they all carry. Having said that, the store has a great selection of electrical products, and computer products. So as long as you know what your looking for it's great. Don't ask for advice or compare products with the assistant as they generally don't have a clue

   When I tried to purchase a tumble dryer online the Currys website wouldn't let me pay and I ended up calling into Currys in Bangor, where I was told that because of the EU and Ireland no tumble dryers can be sold in Northern Ireland and this is why I couldn't purchase one online, I was also told that I won't get one elsewhere. Turns out that's indeed untrue, I contacted Miele directly and the exact same tumble dryer I was trying to purchase from Curis en route. Not impressed guys. If your company decides not to sell tumble dryers here at least be honest about the reasons and don't blame politics.

   Called in to buy and washing machine and and tumble dryer. Picked the items with the sales assistant. Sales assistant got to till, entered the items then a fault came up on till. Tried another till - same thing. Couldn't resolve the problem. Walked out - an hour of my life wasted.

   While I was getting nowhere with online I. Regards to an in warranty issue in my TV. I called in and spoke with a guy called Jack Donald. He was more than helpful and gave me the correct dept and info I needed to get sorted. It took over 2months. But I got a full refund. And it was thanks to him.

   Friendly and professional attention, good place to look for electrical items. WARNING - watch your time as the parking is very unfriendly cos short time allowed and penalty notices given promptly. Shop experience excellent but parking experience very bad..... not planning to go there soon, before Xmas allowing that short time for parking where there are a few shops is scandalous. Shame on the greedy parking people. Truly spoiled my Xmas!!

   Attended Currys in Bangor on the 15/12 and again on the 20/12 and on both occassions the store wasnt that busy. You had 5 members of staff at the front area all chatting with each other whilst other staff members walked about the store trying not to make eye contact with anyone at all. On both dates after finding items that i needed i ended up at the Televisions and stood for 20 minutes trying to get some assistance. The staff at the front looked down continually i even waved but they refused to come down and see if i was interested in buying a tv. After giving up i went to the tills and raised it there but the check out staff couldnt care less. I guess it is the norm of how Currys treat potential sales but i would actually be embarrassed if i was the management running this retail outlet.

   Went here to buy a tumble dryer.... got a lady who hardly spoke English and said that they don't have any of the one I was looking for.... walked around and I found one of the exact model... she said that I cant buy it because it is a display model. So my question is.... if there is no stock then why advertise it? They said they won't be getting it in for at least a MONTH..... just stay away from these big companies and go to your local supplier. Ended up going to HCH in newtownards
