Lovely little spot whilst waiting for my next train. Very friendly and attentive staff, even gave the dog a free treat. Meatball ciabatta was gorgeous and service very quick. Very impressed!
This time I wasn't alone, but had a fantastic special lunch with a friend. We had Chicken Gyros and Stifada with Facaccia bread and Salt and Oregano chips. Cappuccino and Latte and just couldn't resist trying the apple pie and custard. Chicken Gyros is understandable very popular. Very tasty and you can close your eyes and imagine the Mediterranean nearby. The Stifada (a Greek beef stew) was warming and oh so tender. Dipping the facaccia allowed me to savour the flavours. Not naming names, but our server was patient, friendly and so helpful as I put most of my menu selection in her hands. She surely was the light of the North her name suggests. A great place to spent time eating good Mediterranean food in a Greek corner of Newark's Market Square. Whether it's a light lunch or something more, I am sure.you will be pleased, and return again and again.
I really hope people will give more support to this local restaurant. It is such a good visit. My husband and i enjoyed the food and the sitting was lovely too with a good view to town centre.
Lovely little Greek restaurant. Popped in for lunch today, it was dog friendly and gave some treats which was lovely! Service was absolutely brilliant. We had the gyros, one halloumi and one chicken. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Very tasty and hot. We will definitely be back.
Nice atmosphere. Sat outside. Felt like we were on holiday. Very busy with locals and others. Staff friendly. Good selection of drinks. We had gyros and fries but were eyeing up the other food which looked good.
Whenever we visit Newark we always have at least one meal here. We especially love it when we can sit outside in the sunshine ☀ had a breakfast this morning, scrambled eggs on toast with olives and sundried tomatoes yum yum..thankyou green olive..

Absolutely superb on every single level. Great coffee. Great service. They love/welcome dogs. Great places to sit outside/inside/upstairs. Great food/yummies. Great atmosphere. Great welcome. And really great to keep going back!! Love this place. Really love it.
A great place for a quick bite or a proper meal. Great choice of meals, snacks, desserts and drinks for reasonable prices however not so many vegan options offered. I definitely recommend flavoured teas and sandwiches. The food was tasty, done quickly. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, helpful. Despite I came less than an hour before closing I was served and not rushed. Plenty of tables upstairs in case if the weather is not great, nice interior. Great location. I will definitely be back.
