An amazing stay. Carol was so funny and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet, and full of little touches you would not expect. Breakfast was gorgeous and the loose-leaf tea was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend and will stay again. Thanks!

Absolutely loved it!! Stayed for one night on a Saturday, as wanted to have a weekend in Newark to explore it. We were in an attic room (#8). The stairs were steep and saying it was a "town view" was a bit misleading. You could see Asda petrol station, Odeon, shops and street to one side and the church steeple and roof tops to the other. This didn't bother us though, as we wanted to be out and exploring. Five minutes walk to the market square and just under a 15 minute stroll to the river. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating. The room and bathroom were very spacious, clean and excellent quality. Little things had been thought of that make a difference. Breakfast was excellent value for money and ample choice, all freshly made for you (you could mix and match too, so weren't stuck to a rigid menu). If you don't book direct with the hotel, there is a £5 change to park in the courtyard, which we didn't know beforehand. The entrance to the courtyard is easy to miss, as it's just a gap between two buildings (If you have a big car, could be a bit tight). We will be returning as the whole place has a warm, welcoming, friendly family atmosphere. It's also dog friendly too.

My wife and I spend 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The room was lovely and had been recently refurbished. The food is amazing! The breakfast menu stretches to 4 pages, including a whole page of variations on the "full English". We will definitely stay again!

Food was great: extensive menu and homemade desserts. Breakfast sandwiches used quality ingredients and you could really taste the difference. Room was clean with great WiFi and comfy bed. Location is great for accessing central Newark with complimentary parking which saves you. All in all a great experience, lovely family that run the place. Very hard to find somewhere like this these days!

We had a lovely overnight stay and Carol was very accommodating. We didn’t have the breakfast but we did try the pies from the evening meal menu and they were fantastic- could not praise them enough. The room was functional and some nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits. Excellent levels of cleanliness throughout. We will definitely stay here again. Keep up the great work and many thanks for making our short stay so enjoyable.

Beaumond Cross Inn was a truly great find, so different to the larger hotel chains. We got great personal service from Paul and his family throughout our stay. Our room was exceptional, large, airy and very clean, with some nice touches. The food in the restaurant, we arrived late and the kitchen stayed open, was genuinely exceptional. The pies are fantastic. Breakfast was also a highlight with locally produced and sourced ingredients being used.

Lovely little hotel, operated with amazing care to details. The room wasn't particularly chic, but equipped with so many well thought through amenities. The breakfast blew us away, probably the best breakfast I have had in years. The dining area is really cosy. Thank you for your hospitality!

Really recommend Beaumond Cross Inn. Was the best priced accommodation I found for our one night trip and was a lovely place. We were told we had the smallest room - definitely nothing to complain about in terms of the size of the room! Lovely clean, modern room with ensuite shower room. Will definitely be choosing this place again if I ever find myself up in Newark again.

This is a lovely place to stay - family run - we spoke at length to Paul and Carol to hear all about their work on the building. We wanted to book in early as we had to go to a funeral nearby and were very pleased with our room. All the great little touches - fresh milk in the fridge, crunchy biscuits in the biscuit jar, cotton buds in the bathroom and a handy sewing kit - Wonderfully thought out. We didn't eat here as we had made arrangements to eat with family staying elsewhere but the menu and home cooked food looked incredible! Recently redecorated on the street side and waiting for their new sign so you could miss it. Oh - and parking at the rear! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
