Great coffee and food but the premises are way too small to accommodate the cafe users in this area. I visited around 11.30am and there was only one suitable table available for me which I had to search for. Upstairs was full of single laptop users taking up most of the tables. As well as no room this meant there was almost silence resulting in no atmosphere at all. I don't remember any music being played either. It would be far better if an area was set aside for laptops and all users sat together to allow people who want to eat and meet and maybe chat to enjoy the space. There were also a lot of dirty pots left around on this occasion which didn't add to the experience. Overall it was cramped and awkward. Not at all relaxing. I won't be rushing back.
A few months ago the store lost its awnings and still has temporary signage and its refurb whilst an improvement was rather underwhelming. But most sad is the lack of attention outside the front of the store which is never swept before the tables and chairs go out. The pictures are BEFORE the front door was opened. Previous review below Lovely shop although it needs a refurb. Lots of community feel here. Toilets are generally not great. Fresh pastries and cakes are lovely. The coffee is very good and they take genuine care in it. The manager is on it and makes sure the team are epic.
Great coffee but every time I come in to get take away in the morning the male barista is so rude to me. There is no need to speak to me in the way he does, put me off coming back every time he does it.
Always busy here, cosy upstairs seating, ideal for getting into a book, or even working hard (some power outlets available) Best chain coffee available in West Bridgford.
Love Nero generally. This one is good. Always clean when I've been in. Coffee and food all up to standard.
